    The way I see it. You didn't make a mistake. You just created a opportunity to buy another 10/22. That's how I would explain it to the wife. 😆👍🇺🇸

    I swapped the stock triggers in my 10/22's for the BX triggers and it definitely makes a difference! I will never go back to a stock 10/22 trigger.

    It's all good. The thing I like is you still put the video out there, regardless. Kudos for the honesty.

    LOL! Live and learn. I have installed about five of the BX triggers and really like them compared to the "stock" trigger group. "Stock" usually means off the shelf, or standard issue, so you used the term properly. What I noticed was not necessarily more accurate, but more like the lighter trigger pull helped the shooter from pulling off the target. For example, my six year old grand daughter was shooting a 10/22 Charger with the standard trigger. It was about 6 pounds pull. I installed a BX trigger at 3 pounds and immediately noticed that she wasn't needing to pull quite so hard.

    Install a Kidd or VQ trigger kit & compare the BX10 & the kits. Also the OEM shot great. What's the exact length of the barrel without anything on the threads.

    I bought the volquartson hp trigger kit and just put it in the original housing. Its an incredible trigger man. You should give it a shot

    If you don't try it you never know. I recommend the trigger training i had growing up. Practice with something that has a terrible trigger. In my case a basic norinco sks. Good gun but horrible trigger. Stock ar triggers are amazing compared to it

    Now that you already have an extra BX trigger assembly send it off to Brimstone and you will get your trigger back at about a 1 1/2# pull weight with virtually no creep for the reasonable price of $85.00 for his services.

    Andrew, I have the Ruger American Standard (bolt action) 22" barrel. It comes with the Marksman Adjustable (from 3-5 lbs) trigger. Did I adjust it all the way? Of course, I did. You are doing fine, BTW. It's okay to kick yourself, but only once.

    That a 16" barrel? Also sup with the no wind there? Been windy all summer here. Now do a torque screwdriver test, see which lb is best for the barrel. Even a with and without a compensator muzzle device.

    • @MrRiorust
      @MrRiorust 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just removing the action and reinstalling it without applying consistent torque to the action screw could have caused the drift.

    Enjoyed the video. Recommend the Kidd single stage trigger, adjusts down to 1.5 pounds. Like it. They have a 2 stage trigger that goes down to 6 ounces, but I have no experience with it. If I remember correctly , Richard Kidd was chief Armorer of the Army.might be wrong

    Dont know if you read the comments, but Magpul has a great bipod for 10/22 s.. when folded, it makes a great sand bag rest.

      I will have to look that one up. I do have a magpul bipod on my 6.5 creedmoor that will be replaced with an atlas. I could switch that one over to this one. Thanks, hadn't even thought of that

    BX trigger is ... good.
    Kidd two stage ... a couple of magnitudes better. At this point you're feeling spoiled.

    A lighter trigger does not make any gun more accurate, it only masks the incapabilty of the shooter to hold the gun steady while pulling the trigger. I don't change anything about my triggers, except training to pull them correctly which is different from one gun to another.

    Bro want to say that it takes awhile to adjust to a lighter trigger when your used to a heavier pull, just because your groupings werent as good as wit the stock right off the bat doesnt mean that ,its not a great upgrade ,thr only difference is that the rest isnt any different and mine does pull at 3.5 pounds
