Zekka went second because his seeding round placed first, above D-low. Def a close match. I recommend you check out one or two of Zekka’s recent music videos on his TH-cam channel. Also, gotta check out Villain vs. Dudz, might be my favorite battle from SBX kickback.

like all the "unfairs" "take the L"s are all light hearted but in our collective love for D-low i think u missed a condensed experience of some of the best rounds in the KBB by your head instantly turning to Dan after the rounds are done. Like the top 5 drops aren't all his haha! Love these reactions, hope u do the whole KBB if u have time! take care

Yeah when it comes to battles, d-low has some mad skills but he also has some really nice quick-witted disses, and those things together make him someone who can give literally every beatboxer a huge run for their money, even the seasoned vets who he looked to for inspiration for beatboxing in the first place. That said I love the vibe Zekka always brings to these routines. He comes and tries to set an ambience, and his singing/beatbox combos are really good. He's been making more songs lately and they're all really well put together, and have a nice balance of melodies and grimy drops.
Dudz vs Villain is one of the craziest battles in KBB

D-low actually almost lost this battle. He won by 1 point and they scored by like 80 points each round i think. Zekka won 1st round for me but D-low won the secound round. Zekka's complexity is hard to hear and catch on for first time watchers.

Think this was the first time D-Low went first in this tournament as well, most of his rounds he started second and where not only brilliant routines but also had amazing counters and battle elements of his opponents rounds.
On this one his second round (third of the final) was an absolute monster of a round which probably won it… just…

lol this was the competition that made me say that Zekka was my Fav beatboxer… After the amount of doubt I had for him when he first got 1st in seeding rounds, I thought he was a fluke 💀 but he proceeded to keep destroying consistently in the following rounds 😭

His lyrical writing ability is incredible. Their songs will give you chills and I'd love to see you check them out some especially with how much you love lyrics. I'd consider them metalcore-ish. I'd love for you to check out dayseeker-vultures if you ever get a chance. It's an amazing first song to listen to.

This was actually an extremely closely judged battle haha, still love you loads but maybe keep your mind a TAD more open before this kinda stuff. Tbh there are people who call it a slaughter for either side depending on styles they prefer so that's also normal, but skill wise, glad im not a judge!
My mind was open. I said I loved ZEKKA’s rounds but I felt D-low was on another level. It’s just my opinion 😊

Zekka's second round here was a lil underwhelming. If it was as good as his first round, he would've won for sure.
I see that in technical level they showed an equally insane level and also pushed forward the art form, but I personally find D-low's music a bit more catchy, so I'm happy he won, even by a tiny gap
