- Phillip Schofield has been made to step down amid allegations of starting a relationship with a young boy who he made an assistant on his TV show. It is said that the relations began once the boy was 'of age', but TH-cam host Shaun Attwood will tell us what his sources have found out. I've disliked Philip Schofield since I was a kid and he presented The Broom Cupboard. Even as a kid, I thought there was something forced and fake about him and I've become more convinced by that as the years passed. I stopped watching This Morning when he took over and I never understood why people liked him. Trust your instincts, even as a child, your subconscious is constantly picking up on warning signs.

Is there proof he was abused then? You must know something that others don’t. If you have proof then you must inform the police. If not stop making assumptions as it is very dangerous. Stop listening to celebrities that like the sound of their own voice and media that make money out of spreading assumptions and gossip. If there has been any wrong doing (apart from adultery and lying) then it will be found out due to investigation. All this muck spreading and witch hunt on social media is far worse than what Philip has admitted to doing.

Excellent podcast. I am not from the UK, I used to watch bits of This Morning on YT. The Queuegate was indeed very British but it did start to show how many people disliked him (and her). Now the real big question is really why he was covered up for so long in his double life and in his abuse of power. Him putting out a statement saying he lied to everyone is definitely a way to cover everyone’s back so that everyone else keeps covering his. There is definitely more in this story and I hope it will be uncovered soon.

I grew up in fostercare, spent time homeless, yes many many people get away with alot, i have seen alot. Those people choose your value, an excuse to hurt you, and then they sleep at night. I woke up pretty quickly, and saw thing's for what they was. If I see injustice I open my mouth, I also worked in a care home when i was in my 20s, I witnessed abuse, I definitely open my mouth, the abusers got there comeuppance, but clearly everyone knew and let it go on, until I turned up, well after that I was asked to leave, subtlety threatened then paid off. This is the world we live in 🤷♀️

Considering how many abusers were abused themselves, I wonder about the upbringing of the two brothers. I find it quite unlikely that two brothers would turn out that way by nature, not nurture. Totally agree with you, what strengthens my belief you are correct is the idolisation PS had for his father. That can never be an excuse though. If any child suffered physical and mental abuse they should be the least likely to put another child through that horror. As an adult they can choose to offend or seek counselling for their own hurt and to prevent them from committing acts.

The boy began as a WORK EXPERIENCE KID, handed over to Phil by a man now in jail for grooming and child abuse . Which puts his age at 16 or younger when Phil got him the job. Why would he get a random kid a job without there being a relationship?
He met the boy at a children's theatre. He was ten at the time and they became friends after Phil followed him on social media. That's not normal behaviour despite a sexual relationship not happening until after the boy turned eighteen. He gave the boy fast track TV appearance from the age of sixteen. Why was he friends with this young boy if he had no unsavoury intentions

Please note a correction to your broadcast.:- Philip Schofield’s brother , who was recently convicted of 11 sexual offences involving a child between October 2016 and October 2019, including two of sexual activity with a child was never a serving Police officer in the British Police as Mr Shaun Atwood, keeps wrongly repeating. Timothy Schofield (54yrs) the brother of Phillip did however, work as a civilian IT worker who was working for the Avon and Somerset Police force at the time of the abuse.
It’s so important to be impeccable with our words if we want to be believed or taken seriously.

What is so horrible is the protection given by institutions employing these appalling molesters. Similar to what happens within various religious institutions. The institutions carry on regardless while children’s lives are destroyed; it’s a slow process, but PTSD is an insidious, creeping malice that ultimately leads to victims having pretty nearly worthless lives. In late Nov of 2014, Jian Ghomeshi, who was a darling of CBC Radio with a velvet voice, was finally arrested for assault. Young women who had been at the station reported his really abusive behaviour to the CBC heads but were told to take a hike, Jian was their biggest $$$ source. They're only called runners because they tried running away from Phillip Schofield. Apparently Schofield took the boy to the TV awards whereby he voiced his love and devotion for him to the rest of his (Schofield's) ITV 'friends', so everyone was horrified , and rightly so. After that this poor young man was just kicked to another ITV show, just moved on like he was the problem. It's pretty tragic.

About 30 years ago, when Philip Schofield moved out of children's TV, I can remember reading a magazine interview with him (I think Smash Hits) in which he said it was ironic he started in Children's TV, because he didn't actually like children. What I am confused about is that I heard about the allegation that the reason Philip ‘came out as gay’ was fear the a ‘very young lover’ working with him in some situation was about to go public which pushed the coming out as gay to the public and his own wife. I heard this at the time when he came out, not just recently

I've taken to calling Schofield "Mini Saville." There are so many of Schofield's past colleagues are out to get him now (though he deserves everything he gets). But it's true what they say; Be nice to the people you meet on the way up, you'll meet the same people on the way down
I believe the reason these TV-types are bullies is because they have to be if they want to succeed without any discernable talent!

I’ve had a dislike of Schofield since I was a kid, always thought he was arrogant and rude. A few years ago I got to buy the man who speared him at the smash hit awards a pint and thank him for spearing Schofield. The million subscribers video with Philip and the intern was by Jack Jones
I remember watching the video where he came out. Thought it was odd but ok. Now this comes out. It is creepy very creepy.
I wasn't into lady C at first , the first time I listened to her, but it didn't take long, maybe 2 or 3 mins and I was a fan 😂 she's so funny and fiesty and real!!

I feel so gutted for the Child who is now a young man. I can only imagine what horrible pressure that is on him.I do hope for his own sanity he speaks out completely. He should do as it could help other children more so. He is a vulnerable young man they will be at him like hounds. Honestly the truth will always out anyways. I hope the young man is ok. As for Phil. He can just do one. Horrible man.
I'm worried that he still may be too young to deal with it all psychologically. Most childhood abuse victims don't REALLY come around to start dealing with past trauma until their mid 30s or early 40s. It is like the mind and emotional part of a human being needs first of all a long distance (in time) to things that happens to you when you are really young. It is difficult to comprehend in your early 20s ,still, that you have been manipulated and abused by someone whom you thought was someone close to you and had all your trust. It takes TIME for the mind to come around to realizing those things on a deeper level over time. And in this case, sadly the victim is suddenly thrust in to the world spotlight with these traumas that he may not fully even realize he's been inflicted with. I really really feel for him, on a very deep level. It must be a horrifying feeling of "helplessness". I can identify with his situation from personal experience. I finally came around to coming out with the abuse i was subjected to by a cult and family members at the age of 30 (I'm 58 now) and it had the same effect in my family circle as if i would have dropped a nuke. Everything and everyone went mentally haywire with me for years to come and i felt even more helpless than what i did before my announcement. But in hindsight, at the time it was a really necessary thing for me to do, come out from the closet of victim where my own thoughts and constant emotional turmoil was killing me from the inside, manifesting in problems on the outside throughout my 20s. But i was no prepared for the utter rejection some of my family members had to me -coming out. It was a devastating shell shock and i felt extremely lonely for the coming two decades. I've come far enough in life now to know that healing, is a journey one is on for the rest of ones life. There never comes a day when you feel -Oh i'm done healing now, nothing hurts anymore and i can forgive everyone whom ever harmed me. It doesn't work like that, healing is a lifelong journey, there are days when you feel great, and then something triggers you along the path of remembering really horrible uncomfortable things all over again, and it makes one feel like nothing has changed inside, the hurt is just as intense as when it happened if not even more so. Had a bit a ramble here, sorry..just wanted to say, i wish the best for this young man, whatever stage of his healing process he is on.
There has been no suggestion that he had a serial relationship with a child . Andrew and Shaun are on shaky ground here.

Guys, this is your job, do your research. Schofields brother worked in IT at Avon Police. The boy was at The 2 Faced Theatre Academy in Guide Bridge and was invited to the ITV London studios by the academy’s patron Phillip Schofield who presents the show.
Andrew is nothing short of gold and as for Shaun, he has my respect. I have watched many of his vids. Both you guys rock big time.

I was told 15 years ago that Philip had been in a relationship for at least 5 years with a steward on the airlines. At the time I was told it was a well known secret he was gay.
Just spoke to a friend who's uncle had a hotel in Scarborough. Philip took the last room that night but left early without paying. He rang the theatre to complain. Phillip later arrived and threw the money at his wife. The uncle followed him and asked him why did you do that and Phillip said F off etc.....

Great episode! Shaun is always an excellent guest. The thing about Saville I find so confusing is how obviously scary and depraved he looks. There is no way you'd look into a face like that and sense goodness there.

I'm not British, so i don't know in what way one can work "for" the police, because it would be an impossible concept where i come from. (Unless you run a cleaning business responsible for cleaning the premises of the Police, but it would not constitute working "for" them.) If Schofields brother had some sort of strong connection with the police, surely that cannot be a good thing for the reputation of that police dept either..right? The whole thing sounds like a really dodgy arrangement based on that little bit of info.
