Hey is there a reason this video is unlisted? I was only able to view it again since it was in my "likes" playlist.
One time in my early christian days, I got a pumpkin and carved it. Put a light in it and set it outside my front door. I got so convicted, I couldnt hardly sleep that night. I got up in the morning, threw it out, and never did it again. I dont celebrate it at all.
For my seperated husband to be healed, saved, and delivered from alcohol, deception, and sexual sin. Prayers for me to forgive and delivered from anger and unforgiveness. Prayers for total healing for Jonah. Prayers for my children and grandchildren.

20 years I worked with a lady who was a witch. She practiced witchcraft and she sometimes brought her spell book to work. She took Halloween off because she said they would go in woods for rituals and dance around the bonfire nude. She read the Harry Potter books too.
I had to stop watching your message in the middle of your preaching to go watch Jamie and Jay Dyer’s Analysis of the Harry Potter’s books and movies the series is very heavily occulted. Jamie and Jay are Christians and they do very good analysis of books and movies. Many years I use to watch the Harry Potter movies put stopped because each movie started becoming more darker and evil.
Then Randall Carlson had a great lecture called “Origins of Halloween and the Day of the Dead Festival Summarized”. He bring additional about witches on Halloween. The Pleiades stars get higher and visible between October 31 and the 1st of November and were visible to the ancient people.
More short information UFOs are fallen angels, demons and Nephilim/hybrids. The fallen angels tell people who they encounter their Pleiadians from star Pleiades this all connected to Halloween.

This message has brought common sense Christianity back to me. I have always known rebellion is the sin of witchcraft.
Yes it is... rebellion is a form of witchcraft...but all those things that he was belittling also open doors.
He minimized the effect that those things can have in a child's. And that was very very wrong of him to do that!

I hate soap operas. When I was newly saved, I used to watch one, but after awhile I lost interest and never watched it again. This was in the early 80s before soap operas became really more and more wicked.

I have struggled with stubbornness all my life - before I even knew what it meant I was accused of it and being rebellious. I break its power in Jesus name. Thank You Jesus for your grace and strength.
What he's saying is hard to swallow, however he's absolutely correct about us opening doors or not doing exactly right and we need to tighten up. I've learned a lot of things the hard way 😢. He's on point on a lot of things, however, I'm not sure about some of the things he's saying, but that's why we need to stay sober minded and always pray and we definitely need to pray for each other too because non of us are above falling into sin or being deceived.
I know people who’ve needed deliverance from opening the door to witchcraft by reading Harry Potter witchcraft books. You certainly missed the bus on that one.
I guarantee that the actual door that was opened was something much deeper and more significant. The enemy can use the most benign thing, even people experience in churches. The point is that these things will not open any doors if we follow the principles laid out in the Word, mentioned in this message.
Is it ok to watch witchcraft movies and the read witchcraft books? She gives real spells in them. Whats the difference between that or Anton Lavey’s satanic Bible? People who have read and watched any occultic material and always needed deliverance. Have nothing to do with deeds of darkness but instead expose them. You don’t make any sense right now. Why would you condone those particular things? Do your kids or grandkids enjoy them and you are saying it’s ok? I just don’t get it. I’ve seen the effects of those things. It really makes me wonder now about his agenda. What kind of pastor says things like this? Be very careful who and what we listen to in these last days, they aren’t all from the same spirit. Holiness means being set apart from the world. A peculiar people. He sounds like he wants us to blend in so no one can tell the difference. @cheekychonies7479, I agree with you. While there are a lot of things he says that are true, his overall message is not true. These books and movies are filled with intentions that are not of God. It is clear that many agendas have slowly been implanted in the minds of the population over time, agendas that have caused shifts in how people think. Look no further than the success of the gay agenda, which having now achieved its goal has corrupted many churches and believers with lies about it not being sinful, while also having put those who believe in God's truth on the defense. This man is spending way too much time ignoring the effects of our entertainment media and instead is trying to defend them. I agree with not focusing on specific examples while turning a blind eye to other things that can corrupt our minds, but he is basically trying to steer us away from recognizing the "kid-friendly" entertainment world as being unholy. He mentioned the Rowling lady of having based her Potter stories on the Gospels, but he then says he doesn't think she is even a Christian. Well, the enemy knows the Bible too, and he knows how to use it against believers. A fantasy work about witches that follows the structure of the Bible does not by default make their work something good for the spiritual mind. People just need to be aware of these things. Don't just write off criticism entirely just because some embrace fear and take it to an extreme.
Many of the comments here bother me because everyone is full of amens and holy spirit this and that. Well, people need to look at the fact that very little scripture is used in this sermon to ground his view. That is one of the first things I look for in a sermon...just how scripturally grounded is it? His point of view is the first basis, while scripture comes second. Yes, it is always important to look carefully at the points which any speaker makes, even when scripturally based. False teachers can easily start with the truth and then turn people into untruthful directions. False teachers are a huge thing that the Apostle Paul warned the church about. He makes it clear that false teachers will rise from within the church and begin slowly moving members in a direction that takes them away from God. This man seems to prop up his view by making anyone who points this out as being full of fear. I will tell you this...being aware of the various tools that the enemy uses is not being fearful, it is being armed. There is a difference between being armed with truth and being fanatical. Listen to the Apostle Paul who was closely intimate with God and was used to give us lessons in God's truth.
It really comes across in these comments praising this sermon that many of you are looking for God to affirm your enjoyment of these books and movies. If you were needing to have your entertainment affirmed by God, then I think you already know the truth and that you may be subconsciously rebelling against God's truth. I am very guilty of this same thing from years past, so I can more clearly see it now. God opens our eyes to truth once we FINALLY stop looking for reasons to cling to the worldly things we like and instead just listen to what He tells us, even if the answer is no. God's answer never changes. I wish I would have truly listened to Him years ago instead of taking the hard road because other things were more important to me. I just couldn't see it back then, even though I was a believer. I was simply immature in the Lord. Don't allow entertainment to become more important than it really is. Be wise with your choices and don't let a sermon like this make you feel good. God gives you an answer...are you listening?
I really struggled watching this tonight! I am totally left baffled! Every one of those movies and anything to do with Halloween has pure evil intent and CAN absolutely open doors to the demonic! Please someone help me understand this message! 🙁🤔🙏
Real witchcraft is stubbornness and rebellion.
The message is that spiritual warfare is broader and deeper than just Halloween and movies. As we deepen our faith move away from concrete things and towards understanding spiritual warfare principles.

I completely agree. Paul tells us as Christians even though we are allowed to do anything not everything is good for us. These shows are absolutely open doors to dive deeper into Satan's realm of influence. Especially if you are a baby Christian or one that can be influenced easily. For me, I feel like the HS doesn't appreciate us dabbling with things that are not of God aka these movies and so much more.
I do however agree with what he said about fear and rebellion being a root cause of sin and these are often overlooked because they are not as obvious.

Instead of laughing, you should take the moment to verbally proclain the power and authority of the Lord Jesus over your life, an authority that no witch or demonic spirit can stand against. Don't argue any further or become entwined, but just make that verbal proclamation with Jesus. Even the group of spirits called Legion who dwelled in the possessed man at the tombs cowered at the feet of Jesus and pleaded with Him. They already knew who he was from afar. Just take that one moment to proclaim the truth.

Halloween is worldly celebration, therefore, if youre celebrating any little part of Halloween, youre being disobedient to God, which tells us to depart from the world. Which puts you in the category of rebeliion, which by your definition of witchcraft, would make you a witch/practicing witchcraft.

Whenever I hear a preacher speak against “religion” or the “religious spirit”, my antennas go up because usually there’s a bunch of ridiculousness to follow. This “sermon” is definitely included in my observation.
I think the whole church needs to relax on the spiritual world for right now. I think the church needs to fall on our knees and be honest and say "Lord we have no idea what the **** we're doing! Forget the scholars and teachers and all theorys, what the heck do we get wrong? In Jesus Christ name please correct us!!!!"

I listened to your whole message and you made many valid points. I agree that we shouldn't expose young children to scary movies. The Wizard of Oz actually terrified many of my generation. I don't think the fear factor is the only way to judge a movie. Satan is much more subtle than that. I agree the sin of rebellion is rampant in the church but, I still think that there is a subtle danger as portraying witchcraft as harmless and fun in movies or TV shows.

It was Albus Dumbledore that taught Harry in his first year at Hogwards to refer to Voldemort as Voldemort in future because fearing to mention or to call someone or something by it's proper name only increases the fear of the thing itself. Glad to see that you picked up on Mike Myers film where he was a ground stuart at for an airline whose responsibility was to train new air hostesses.
