The new feature is so stupid. It makes me NEVER want to buy another Apple product ever again. Why would I want to force reset when I clearly want to save what is on my ipad? What if it isn't banked up cause they force me to pay for more than 5GB of storage on a 128GB ipad? Why don't they just let you put the freaking code into the Apple icloud/id website and unlock it via a code sent to your phone or email? So stupid.

So I bought a acceptable condition for a iPhone, it's a lot of scratches, so will a case and a screen protector remove them?

depends on how deep the scratches are, sometimes if it's light scratches with darker tint screen protector it will not be noticeable
