Legend has made this good suggestion and given really thoughtful advice quite a few times, and it confuses me people don't get it. If you want good Totalwar games, positively reinforce CA when they do good things, ignore when they do bad things. Give things more than 2 seconds of thought and don't just impulse everything. Really good life advice to be honest. You hold more power than you realise, and you can enact change through a tiny inconvenience to you, and a major inconvenience to CA. Goes for any company. You want them to be more ethical, or produce better products? Stop buying it as a group and they either fail or adapt.
This would require people to actually use their brain.
@judgedread9724 I know, and it's honestly tough. The inputs into this are so varied and even seem completely removed from gaming. But my hope is saying it might trip a switch in someones brain and help them realise. They can still choose a different option, everyone has different ideas about what is good or works, or their goals, but I suspect most will come round.
The Warthunder community managed this really well recently. They even unionised, which I approve of. Gamers are generally easy to make happy, so if they do that, you done buggered up.

@@candleman2123it is to protect the content maker. If it wasn't removed after an edit someone could fish for a heart and later edit the content of the original comment completely into something loathsome. Making the content maker looking like they support that comment.

good to see the occasional stream from you again legend, im mostly interested in letsplay style content but im happy to watch the streams as vods. Im certainly one of the people that has been re watching much of your old streams. I hope your mental health is good now, I understand these problems well. I think Louen is my favorite LL to watch Legend play. I'm not sure why, but its nice to see him play some old school Bretonnia.
brettonia is underated in terms of fun. Its always the same but the ai enemy locations are so close to you its unpredictable. basically a better empire campeign
if there were a community mod that adresses the A.I and the difficulty of campaigns in a good way, is it something you would be interesting in doing?
There are both of those things in various iterations, though I imagine you are aware of that.
I believe Legend has stated that he refuses to use mods for any purpose, including just for simple bug fixes. I highly doubt he would be interested in these mods that you speak of.
He does not normally use mods in streams for a few reasons. There have been AI mods available for a while so seriously doubt he would want to stream it.
@@benb9882 he did do a couple of livestreams with on warhammer 2 which brings a playable nagaash faction and that was a big hit ! I know legend has his principles but I feel he is a little too rigid at times..
@@himdailungpamei983 yeah that was why I said normally, and it's not so much a principle as he sees mod usage as counter productive for the channel... at least that has been my impression
The Fay is the only Bret I enjoy playing in WH3 right now. She is such a good Legendary Lord and those Grail Knights are just way too fun to play with after the recent buffs!
I'd like to play her as well. Where do you expand to in the early game, like which direction?
Can you trade Albion to Yvresse? Just curious. This was a fun campaign for the first 25-30 turns. I agree WH3 is a 40 turn campaign now for the most part where as I was always surprised when you got the chaos invasion in WH2 but it would happen sometimes when I got bogged down in a campaign.

Pharaoh looks like a Tomb King-Troy crossover in the worst way possible.
For anyone starting this, it's a lot easier to wipe out the vampire lord and then force march to the borders with greenskins. You really won't be missing much by not hiring the infantry trash (though you can still do it on the second lord), the vampires will take much longer to create a force, and you will complete the early quest for more cash.
Is bretonia the only Race in a game which doesnt have base trash recruitment on a base building? Also how do i get Parravon regions from Orion 😢
I never end up playing Louen. His faction effects are just too basic and don't really affect his campaign in any interesting ways. My go-to is usually Alberic, but Repanse is pretty good as well.
Campaign movement range for ALL armies is insanely good. It's not particularly interesting, but still powerful.
I'm fairly sure flying units can capture if they land if they're otherwise unbreakable? I swear this used to be a thing. Maybe it was TWW2 though?

I think vows should be automatic or have a notification bcz when i first played bretonia i hated it u cant buy a lot of cheap units like skaven and cavalry upkeep looked insane.

For what I remember he really likes Stellaris endgame. So less of a pop spawn of 12 armies and more like 1 faction that gets stronger the longer the game goes on. Also he said there should be strong rewards for killing the end game

If I recall correctly he said he liked the chorf one a bit better because of the tunnels that spawn. It's still just stack spawning but atleast the tunnels are fun. Too bad they don't stick around when you eventually end the crisis.
you dont get the greenskin incursion event in WH3
I don't hate the walled sieges in WH3 but i DO hate the fkn towers in the settlement. I've modded them out completely and turned them back into WH2 sieges this entire time lol.
Having issues with britonia where my flying Lords rout in fights because there’s no ground units even when I land them.
I know this an old video but I do hope they make a good world war one or star wars if the rumors are too

I love louen. Yeah he might have the worst inf in the game but nothing more satisfying than just running over the enemy with flying knights
The point is: Bretonnia's infantry is melee cav. Replace your frontline with knights errant, questing knights or grail guardians. Believe me, it works.
Do you think review bombing might work, Legend?
War Thunder players got sick of some changes Gaijin made to the game, so they went on a campaign of review bombing and Gaijin reversed the changes.
I'm not in favour of review bombing but I'm also not going to tell people how to voice their frustrations

Factions have a higher chance of getting wiped out depending on who you play. I noticed Azazel gets taken out in most of my campaigns.

I agree I loved Paradox games especially Hoi3 and EU4 but then it became a huge DLC monster. Look at eu4 it costs like 400$ to get everything in that game and that's prob on sale.... they are disgusting. They could make these huge expansion packs for 60$ even and peopel would be happier.... but now they release these half assed dlcs with teh minimum content to keep people slightly content but as little as possible so they can put that idea in the next dlc.
It's basically a dev just modding their own game and charging you for it.

The siege rework is why I'll never pay for Warhammer 3. Watching Legend cheese cap a city with some lords is hilarious and not how I'd ever imagine a siege to look.
totally, i use a mod that prohibits the building of defences amidst combat, you are only allow to before deploying, is way more fun and less cheesable but still, cheesing to go to every victory point are still there, there is a nother mod that removes minor settlement sieges completely
Does anyone know of a good mod to make the campaign AI more aggressive?
Stronger and Fairer AI raises its potential significantly this making it smarter and much more aggresive on the campaign map.
Deepwar mod seems to have potential but havent tested it yet.

Bretonia stinks all around imo. I’d place my money on a Rome 2 Faction like a full stack of Scythian Horse archers over these Ladyheathens and their trebuchets
Love your content Legend! But that first battle against greenskins was painfull to watch 🙂. Even do the Bretonia melee infantary sucks they play an important roll and that is to pin enemies for charges. To keep them out of the battle for so long was a misstake. Pin the orc boys and charge with the pegasus from behind and the orc boys will melt!

Sad to see what became out of warhammer total war. Its a absolut mess full with buggs, uselesse camapin and battle ai path finding problems, units forgetting comandse, line of sight issus and much more... all they focus on is how to get the most money from dlcs with less effort. It just became a cash grap for ca...

Legend, I love your streams and Im already waiting for next one, but I have one issue.
Im questioning if you should put so much attention to Pharaoh. Lets be real here, if either its going to be really good (like 3K) or really bad (like Thrones), you wont cover the game on your channel anyway. And for good reason, because it wont be able to compete content-and-gameplay wise with Warhammer. At the same time I have a feeling that if Pharaoh would actually look good, you would not put on it even half of your current attention, but as it looks bad, you use it basically as an outlet for your pent up anger at CA for butching TWW3 release.
During the stream you admit that you love the direction TWW3 right now is taking, but at times it feels that even if you seem to acknowledge that, you focus your attention 10% on positive and 90% on negative if it comes to CA.
And I dont try to defend CA here. Pharaoh looks like total moneygrab. Im most likely also not gonna touch it. But it feels like a constant vibekiller to hear you slandering it over and over again.
I understand this sentiment completely. Hopefully the discussion around pharaoh will die down soon but it's an important discussion topic and I think expressing my opinions on the matter however mood souring is important for now. I definitely would prefer not to talk about it at all however.
@@LegendofTotalWar I can see that there is quite some interest coming from Total War fanbase about Pharaoh right now. But as your pools showed, there is also large subset of your community that doesn't care, (just a suggestion) you might consider keeping this content separate from Warhammer. In separate videos or separate live-streams where you actually play games that you talk about for most of the time (Atilla/Troy etc.). It would also make Warhammer streams more ever-green content to watch in a future from VODs, because when we inevitably forget about Pharaoh in a year from now, no one would have a clue what you talked about it anyway, lol.
