    This is SOOOO helpful.. THANK YOU! This is the VERY setup (albeit on a Mac Studio) that we are moving to and I wanted to gain confidence on HOW to set it all up. THIS is GOLDEN. Well done, clear and concise. I especially appreciated the closing, "why we do it THIS way instead of OUT to the ATEM Mini." Again, it was a question I too had. Thank you!
    ~~ Can I get ONE piece of information? Exactly WHAT cable do I need (and interface, if any) to connect the USB-C out of ATEM to the lightning IN of the Mac Studio? What CABLE do I want to get, AND again, do I need ANYTHING else in between the ATEM and MAC STUDIO? Thanks!

    Thank you so much for this video.
    We have a multishot set up and unfortunately during our baptisms, so many congregation members crowd the baptistry that those in the pews can't see, however, we have a camera angled perfectly to show it, and now I'm able to siphon in the livestream footage to show the baptism on the media screens.
    I was wondering though, I'm having an issue where my video input is "flickering" and jumping image as if the feed is messed up. I'm running a USB C to USB to a converter into our computer....is it a issue just because of the converting device or because it's a USB C?

      I'm guessing the framerate that the ATEM is configured for is different from the framerate that the propresenter computer is sending out. Go into your computer's display settings to see if it's 30 or 60 or whatever then open the atem control software and tell the atem to output the same frame rate as your computer is sending to that HDMI port. clear as mud?

    Great video showing all the steps for setting up live stream - thanks very much!
    Any chance you could do a similar step by step video setting up a whole service starting with nothing? I still struggle with transitioning from one part of the service to another - e.g. song to speaker. I usually have to "stop all" and then click on the next item to start it up - leaves a black screen in between which is not ideal. Many thanks again for all the training videos - Propresenter 7 can do so much it takes a long time to get my head around it!

    We are trying to go the other direction. I'm having trouble getting the PP7 Output to be sent back to the ATEM (Mini Pro ISO) for using the ATEM as the hub, which will then send out via ethernet and streaming bridge to a hardware RESI encoder. I have a USB-C to HDMI cable connected from the Mac outputting a second screen to the Camera 4 input on the AMPI. The Mac is showing the Output. The ATEM is not showing that it's receiving any video signal. How do I route the output signal within PP7?

    • @RenewedVisionLLC
      @RenewedVisionLLC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will need to make sure that the ATEM Mini is seen as a screen output in your Audience Screen configuration. Select that output and it will show on the ATEM.

    • @chaddonal4331
      @chaddonal4331 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RenewedVisionLLC Thank you. We were able to solve it. In our case, the problem was the mac was defaulting to sending the output of Pro Presenter on the main screen, rather than the ATEM -- which is essentially the second screen. Pro Presenter doesn't seem to default to outputting to a 2nd screen or have a simple selection (like say Powerpoint -- to output to 2nd screen). So, for whatever reason, with both screens enabled, PP was sending to the Mac screen. Once we deleted the Mac screen as an output, then PP sent to the ATEM without issue. Maybe this is documented clearly and we just missed it.

      The Atem Mini can be used as a capture card as shown in this video, although it likely won’t work properly with ProPresenter 6 since it didn’t come out until ProPresenter 7 was released. ProPresenter 6 also can’t live stream and won’t work as described in this video.

      If you want to streamline the look and just use lower thirds for your presentation slide text it would be the same as lyrics. You’d simply create a theme and make it look how you want, then assign that theme in your audience look when that presentation document is being used.
      If you specially prefer a Picture in Picture look, then currently you’d have to do so by using a stage screen as your main live stream source instead of an audience screen. In a stage screen you could put a “preview” of your main audience screen somewhere on your stage layout.

      I did livestream for a presenter who had his own windows laptop with his pre-prepared powerpoint presentation. I downloaded some free software which created an NDI stream from his PPT output. I then was able to add it to PP7 on my Mac via an NDI video input source. It worked well once I understood how the PPT2NDI tool worked with it's various options. Not sure if that helps.

    Is there any way to fade between looks? I currently use Pro to switch between a live camera and slides, with a few lower thirds graphics, and when the looks switch, it's a hard cut. This is fine for switching between slides and the camera input, but lower thirds look a little weird when they just disappear.

      The option you go with is really going to be with what works best in your environment. Ultimately, running on two different computers gives you the best performance and reliability. Hi Paulo! I'm not completely understanding your question. If you're asking if an Atem Mini can be plugged into a Windows PC or Mac, it can. Both of those operating systems can read the video input from an Atem Mini. If you're trying to bring in the video on one computer and send it to another, what is your reasoning behind doing that? • @RenewedVisionLLC
      @RenewedVisionLLC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@loganarowland there are really 3 popular solutions to what you are asking about!
      1. Input your audio via one of your cameras. With this, you'd take your line out free from the fallen & hearth QU-16 and go directly into your camera. From there ProPresenter could take that audio in.
      2. Use an audio interface like the PreSonus Studio 24c, you'd connect it to your computer via usb, then input the line out from your board straight into that. ProPresenter would see that audio device as an option to choose from in the audio inputs list.
      3. Go directly from your digital board to your live stream computer using a usb cable. Then use a DAW like Logic Pro or Studio One to mix your audio well. Then from here use a program like Loopback to get your audio from the daw into ProPresenter. This option is the most complicated and resource-heavy, but would provide you with the most flexibility over sound quality.

      You can record through ProPresenter! If you have the Atem Mini Extreme there are multiple USB-C ports. The Pro only has the one so you won’t be able to record from the device and send a signal into a computer at the same time, as a cheap switcher it does have many downsides like that.
