Amazing that people have such critiques. Considering the Moser is $119,000, I have nothing but joy to pick up this effort for 4% of the cost. Thanks for showcasing this! I only have 2 from the brand, from back when they were struggling as Meccaniche Veneziane. The rebrand seems to have brought new life!
@@LaurentiusTriarius Size for purpose? Do you feel that it's too small? Too big? I'm not a fan of small watches, personally, but I was willing to get it, thanks to the unique dial. I really love it, so, no complaints in person.
Great video, your editing is superb and the self deprecating humour much appreciated. I think I will have to go back and work through your videos now 👍
That's a handsome watch. A marriage of the iconic Movado Museum's minimalist dial encased in a more sporty steel Submariner case. Best of both worlds in my opinion.
Not usually my style of watch, but this is gorgeous! 🔥 That dial is incredible, so deep and thepolished hands just pop like they'e floating. And it should always stay on that leather band, just an overall better look than adding a bracelet.
I received mine last a few days ago. I thought the black would be deeper. Maybe it's the AR coating on one side. I felt the strap was a deeper black. Also the Ghost date threw me off when I was setting the time, wondering why they went with a NH35A instead of a NH34. But all in all. It is a very gorgeous watch. Very clean and elegant.
I was wondering that about the caliber as well. They are keen to these criticisms and I talked to them about it. They are also considering the smaller variants. Let’s see what they come up with next after hearing all these comments.
to be fair, it's blackest black if it's not on direct light. if you look at it outside, it's a shade of grey so it's just black in dim light or no light.
I'm afraid they missed one thing, this glass HAD to have ALL the AR coating possible, don't see this... (in fact i can see NOT 😋) Good idea, not executed as should be. Nevertheless, beautiful and simple, though bit thick and expensive.
500 euros for a NH35 is ultra expensive. It's also ultra thick for a dress watch and it's not a practical watch, that dial is totally illegible. That black whatever color they trying to market is just a marketing bs, cannot be compared with Vantablack that Moser used. You should know that normal black color absorbs 94 to 95 percent of light, so you're paying at least 300 more than you pay for a normal black nh35 watch to get that halfway 99.4 black color that this watch offers and trying to make a big deal out of it. Vantablack is 99.96 and you should know that there is also another black color created by MIT that absorbs 99.9923.
On thing missing in the equation here is the amount units to be produced. If this watch would be produced at 10,000 units, you can expect to see the price significantly plunge to NH35 levels. Also, these black paints operate at the most minutest of increments and the slightest of difference could mean thousands in the grand scheme of manufacturing. Granted one can spend 500 euros on other stuff with a similar appeal, the fact that this watch achieves an effect I do not see easily at this above the affordable range is reason enough for me to be at least explored.
Not bad, however definitely room for improvement. I would love to see a 36mm variant that shaves off some of the thickness. Remove the ghost date movement and add a screw-down crown. Excited to see future editions down the line.
yes when that ghost date was pointed out, i did not realize it had that. but that could have been improved with a different caliber. but i dont mind that at all personally. now i know they had a 36mm model. but im not sure that it will have the same treatment as this.
500 euro for a non screw down crown, ghost date position and a very average looking black leather strap???? Hard pass!! Hard hard pass! You can get so many better watches with better movements (9039, 9015, SW200 etc) for that price or less. Venizianico have lost their minds.
If anyone can really say anything bad about this unique beautiful brand, then they really need to take a good look at themselves 😂 This brand is AMAZING. Their pieces are art!

Right on!
My only critique is the size for the type of purpose this watch would see but appart from that it's a killer design.

Beautiful watch, thank you for introducing it on your channel.
My pleasure!
Loved the intro, love you m8! 😉
Thank you!

Subscribing because I enjoy the in depth research and the slight of hand showmanship!

Agreed. I love this watch. New favorite.
I love this watch. Fun video. Like your style, very infotaining.

You Can’t Miss This Amazing Deal! #Venezianico #microbrand

Yes that’s what I figured too. That band just completes the look.
Really informative, thanks! Really like this and the case shape is nice. Out of interest, is Solas still going, the website seems inactive?
I think he’s taken a break and prepping for his dive watch. He pretty much sold all of his units I think.
Your charisma and bank account? You are humble enough not to mention your humour. Great review as always. 👍
Well my humor is more like a Mariana Trench than a black hole so I guess I can accept that.
Stunning timepiece, but I stay for your commentary, Jason. I laughed hard during your intro - Thanks again for another quality show!
Glad you enjoyed it!

the quick outdoor shot in daylight was very useful
Que belleza!!!
Si claro!
Very nice piece and nice review
Love the ultra black dial looks sexy with this case design I'd love to have it
I gotta have minute markers. Something about being able to tell the time when I look at a watch. Other that that it's kinda cool.

Now that is what U call a Black Hole..!😎🙏🏴☠🏴☠🏴☠

“ It reminds me of the Eternal Abyss that is my charisma and Bank Account! " ...I Felt that 😄 - Sweet Timepiece tho
If you ever get sick of doing watch reviews, you could have a future in comedy...
That’s the comedy right there cuz apparently I’m bad at jokes according to many people. Haha.

Sorry, I would still get H. Moser’s vantablack.
I would too. If had 200k to burn.

Good catch on the ghost date. Honestly I never felt that ghost date and I had to go back and check it out.
Hands are low quality made as seen on close up shots.
Trap watch
Why?
Boldr venture singularity.
I saw that. But I haven’t seen it in person. Plus they won’t send me a review unit here.
