PO-33 is what got me into samplers. Love that little thing. Great for a bus ride. Limited yes, but those limits keep you focused. GAS has got me listing over a PO-133 because I love the street fighter 2 artwork.
Quite useful the other way around too. Sample into the SP first, give the sample all that flavor, bounce it into the PO where you can arrange a nice beat and then bounce it back into the SP for finalizing. Samplers are always best when you have more than one to play with.
Cant disagree with that. The combinations are almost endless. I like your idea though I need to do that more as I go through my MK2 anyway to get the samples from my computer :)
When making a beat on the SX or A, which don’t have chromatic mode, the PO-33 is a nice association to play a sample at different pitches back into the 404.
@@spvidz yes. It's preloaded with street fighter sounds. But you can easily overwrite them or restore them by removing the batteries and hold some buttons. A face-lift 33
Love it! I have both and wanted to create a workflow using these devices, could you make a video of you making a beat using both? I would love to see your process!
Would love an sp..i have a ko had it about a week masterd it in a few hours ..but the s.p looks complicated i want a proper hardware sampler the ko is good but limited obviously the sp will sound better
How do I get rid of the hissing noise? When I hook up my sc500 scratch to these it get louder...even just the po133 has a hissing noise when hooked up to my sp404 mk2
is it possible to use a 3/4mm stereo splitter and use a couple stereo aux cables with 1/4inch adapters for each as an alternative? I was thinking that or a 3.5mm to 2x 1/4 inch cable
i know the pitching on the 404 was bad and that's the main reason people were using the po-33 with it, but is the pitching on the mk2 improved enough to make that unnecessary now?
Did you see that part where I hit bpm and then 16? if you hold bpm and use the numbers you can set the master volume. Also it will sample in quite quiet. I go to the volume setting of a sample as soon as I've recorded it in and set that to max

I love mine and it’s not even left my house yet 🤣

Super combo! Amazing what you can get out of PO-133 & love that is crazy portable. Looking forward to your next beattape!
Nice 🙌 I had PO33 year ago but i think I’m gonna check it again 🤗
Jedi mind! Nice beat and video.
Very nice. I sampled my electro-acoustic guitar on my MKII tonight and then put a best over it and it sounded really good!
That’s dope!
To remember which side of the 33 is the output just remember the side where the internal speaker is the out.
Nice tip, thanks 😊
Love my PO-33, can’t wait to get an MK2 and use them together!

Great poin, thanks!
Looking forward to that beat tape!
It’s coming along nicely already!
This sounds totally Dope.
Appreciate it!
I got them both and when I seen the video I went right in lol thanks for the inspiration
🙌🙌🙌
I got the street fighter po 133 on prime day. So cool. I need to try this my mk2. Thanks bro
Nice man, I'm pretty sure they are the same, just new sounds?

Yes definitely! Coming soon…!
Still have fun with muh po33. The mk2 is worth it for the fx and buses alone...would go nicely with mpc one...
Dope beat!
Shoot bro, I want a PO-33 now!
They are a lot of fun!
Nice idea! Somehow i never used it that way lol

Hmm not too sure sorry buddy, never tried that myself but in theory it could work!
@spvidz no worries m8, I can give it a shot and see. I recently got a cassette player as well so may give that a try to sample into my mk2
Nice. I need to get my cassette deck up and running again. Can’t beat that sound 👌
Could you mute parts on the PO so you could separate the kicks and snares and hats etc?
You would have to record automation on each part with the volume dial set to zero. That’s the only way I can think of doing it.

Yeah its a lot better. I haven't done a dedicated video about it yet but I do plan to at some point!
Love my Po33 but it seems my volume output is incredibly low for some reason smh

Oh shoot, totally missed that man thanks! I was just thinking about getting manuals for all my gear just for this reason!
Can the mkii sync with po devices?
Mk2 has midi in and out, PO has clock in and out… I would think you can, can’t you?
Thinking the same. I’m not great with midi but it’s definitely something I’ll look into 👍
@@spvidz I tried but had no luck
