Wow. This poor family. That little girl looked so so sad, someone of her age should never feel such sadness. I just hope this beautiful home will help, even just a tiny bit for that family to try start to rebuild their lives.

This was a deserving family by far. Ive watched it a few times and still cry everytime. Mark is a hero!!! And tom was his family's hero. Alot of love in this family. May God help the family to heal and be able to move forward eventually. ❤

I hope somebody explains to that tiny girl that she wouldn't have the strength to hurt her Dad, especially as he was such a big man. I wish and hope somebody (or a few adults) can let her know that this had nothing to do with her at all. That poor little blossom.
the tragedy gonna haunt Hanna for the rest of her life..no matter what others say to her.. Just hope this will make her a strong person & strive to make her father & family proud..
@@the1-taylorswiftfandom56 no because she can have help from professionals to explain to her that hes dad decided to swim there with her no the other way also you always have to use floaters or something if your with a kid, so hopefully she will be fine
@@FranciscoHernandez-pg7fk that's unfortunately not how it always works, having professionals help you don't equal a guarantee recovering, in reality people keep suffering with what they were going through for the rest of their lives, professionals can only do so much and for so many tragic things to happen so fast I highly doubt that little girl or boy or really the whole family would ever fully recover (and I don't mean get over since that is basically impossible).
I pray she does..she needs some really immediate and intense counselling..I'm so sad for her😢😢😢. No child should have to experience that..thats not a memory to have atall😢😢😢😢

Omg I think I've cried myself dry.....I love u GIRARD FAMILY. Just like mum said the knights are there protecting their castle, beautiful well mannered kids, great outlook for the tragedy they been through, did anyone else notice Hannah's eyes, in the beginning they were dark gloomy and sad, then when she saw the snowflakes it's like her eyes knew she could feel dad and brother, she had a beautiful smile, hope she has still got it. Goodness, this episode required tissues! One of the saddest episode ever IMO, this family really deserves this help. Such a bittersweet feeling, I feel both very sad and happy for them. May they are able to heal, thrive with the house, and all the kids have bright future.
That looks like a great town to live, a place where the people are kind and care, and always ready to help each other, even under the pouring rain and snow! ❤

I am not really a 'Cry Lady' having grown up the hard way in poverty. I rarely shed tears even in the most life dramas that I have encountered. But this episode makes my eyes stream with tears. I feel the pain of this family... 72 years old here from the Philippines I love you all.

Most of them got in to serious trouble coz houses were badly/poorly built, bills added up coz allready struggleing to survive day to day in their previous houses didn't suddently have more money pouring in. Plus all the theme rooms... little kids grow up...
Ty and the whole team, u guys are part of the reason why America seems better then I think. Australia loves u guys

The mother is a beautiful women, the whole family is, I know her children will be amazing adults as well. Just beautiful all of them .. The little one will be good also, she has her family and mother to guide her, You guys do amazing jobs of love, to get a community working to help, if it was not for you, it would not happen.

They’re going to need those solar panels to save money. Because the taxes and utility bills on this property are going to be a lot more than the house they used to have.
I don’t know why they always feel the need to build huge houses on this show. Especially seeing as it’s usually low income or struggling families.
Agree, I so an update on some of the recipients, some of them had to sell bc of the taxes. Hope it all works out for this family, feel therapy will be needed to help with their grieving. 🙏👑
And yet again, they built too grand a house. I read where there were one or two families whom he built fancy BIG houses for without taking into consideration that a property assessment will drive up the taxes, the household bills to heat and light a huge house will be high, the maintenance will be more...and they lost the house to the debt it caused them. This is a widow raising four children, how will she take care of the increase in taxes and bills on her own? This team rarely uses any common sense. This house is so much of a white elephant that the mom will find it very very difficult to sell in order to salvage some of their life and buy a cheaper, more modest home..and the bank will take it all. That poor woman.

I really feel for Hannah because when I was 9, my dad died of leukaemia I was a naughty boy always causing trouble before my dad got sick and I learned years later that stress can aggravate cancer symptoms. I was told that it was absolutely not my fault that my dad died. Hannah was not to blame for her dads death.

I can never understand why it takes a film crew for the town to come together why not before. This one has made me a blubbering mess especially watching that little girl who blames herself I so hope she gets the help she needs
I hope every single family member has received proper therapy or counseling. The house and the changes are wonderful, but the palpable loss of father and son lingers. And the big (perhaps limited) son is not as overbearing as in the Viceo.
The moment i clicked on this i felt as heartbroken for that sweet lil girl as i did when i first watched i hope they have all healed enough to move forward but especially her bless her. To be on your dads shoulders when something so tragic happened that poor girl you cant even imagine it.
I could never remember her name all i ever remembered was Snowflake because of her dad calling her it so i always thought of her as snowflake girl.
I don't think I will ever get the image of that beautiful little girls face,so full of sadness it was heartbreaking😢
