- I really love Dorian and got really emotional when he called my Lavellan his best friend. So I tried my best to make a tribute to this friendship. But I had some trouble. Not because of the quotes (I actually had to cut some beautiful ones). Because there were plenty! But it was harder using clips for this video without being too repititve. I also had trouble with the music for the second part. I had a few really beautiful emotional songs without singing, but it became way to cheesy XD.
But I think its fine overall!
(I used a new program to edit, so this video is accidentally only watchable with 720p D:. I will pay attention for the next video. I'm very sorry.)

Yes! Dorian is just so loveable!
Dorian's friendship with my Lavellan just snuck up on me, but it ended up being even more heartfelt than my cherished Varric friendship. When he calls her "my dearest friend, perhaps my only friend" on my first playthrough, I about lost it.
I admit I cried when I found out he wasn't a romance option for a female cause I love his romance as a male
If Dorian’s not in Dreadwolf-especially since it looks like Tevinter will be a location-I’m going to be beyond disappointed. His character writing and Ramon Tikaram’s voice acting are among the best in the series let alone this game.
He's a character I want to see in the party again him and the Bull
Probably my favourite friendship in the entire game - I'm so happy someone made a tribute for them.
I'm still not over the discussion he has with the Inquisitor about the Tevinter Chantry. "I may not believe in the Chantry, but I believe in you."
God their friendship means so much to me.
This is such an underrated ship. I adore my Varric friendship that's sibling-like, but with Dorian, I think it's like more like platonic soulmates. Thank you for this lovely video, I wish there were more. BRB I need to go console myself and my feels after the closing line ;_;

I love Dorian since I first met him and cried when realize he wasn't a romance option I started playing the games about a year after it was out and right before the one came out
I can't forget the moment when we were clearing the Coast from darkspon, and after a battle Dorian asked my male 😘 inquisitor, how's he. After the "okay" answer Dorian said "me too then" or something like that. I was about to turn into a unicorn myself 😄 He is so precious!

Dorian is my Inquisitor’s soulmate regardless of gender. Their ride or die 😂 and before anyone come at me I don’t believe soulmate is exclusively romantic.
My Adaar and Dorian's friendship is so heartwarming... two souls, having difficulties finding a place to belong for different reasons, and then they encounter eachother in the most strange way and become beat friends.

Sometimes I come back to this video and I just sob. I honestly try to see how long I can go without crying and I always fail. Awwww thank you! there will be more DA content! I just don’t have much time right now 🥲. But there are a few unfinished projects like a second Dorian friendship tribute. (And maybe something from DA2) And trust me, when DA4 is released there will be so much more :)
This friendship is new to me, I just finished DAI for the first time and even though I have seen all the playthroughs and must of the lore, their relationship is just so beautiful. I kept flirting with him even though i was with cullen because i love his voice. That scene of them in Trespasser broke me.

I adore Dorian`s relationship with the Inqi - doesn`t matter romantic or friendship based, bc I think first and foremost they are friends, true friends to e/o. And their friendship is so valuable. Dorian leaves but he is inspired by Inq to change the things he feels needed to be change, to try. I`d love to think their friendship gives them courage. And laughter. Will say this character has ruin the actor forever for me, in a good way because I only see Dorian when I hear his voice, he did a amazing job. I got excited and confused when I was watching midsomer murders and couldn't see anything but Dorian.

I started my first play through of the game and had heard of Dorian but assumed I wouldn't like him since people were talking about how he comes off with a I'm so amazing personality and then he ended up being my favorite character and I genuinely am attached to that man. I wish he was real so I could give him the biggest hug ever!

I just finished watching all the friendship videos you made for the DAI companions. I think this one is my favorite. Partially because I've always considered Dorian to be my Inquisitor's best friend, but mostly because your editing, music choice, and scene selection tugs at the heart strings. Amazing work! I hope you make Friendship videos for Sera and Vivienne as well.

About Sera and Vivienne… The thing with Sera is, there is (at least for me) a very important part about her which you only discover through her journal, especially in “Trespasser”, where she writes she has to be there for you even though you will be fine (after that whole ancient elves discovery). I wish I could use that somehow, because it was the big part which made me see her in a different, softer light. But I will still try a Sera tribute when I find a good song for her.
Vivienne is a big MAYBE, because she was never super prominent in my playthroughs. It could happen, but right now, I have no inspiration for her tribute. But maybe someday.

In my head they are more family than friends, she trusts no one so much like Dorian, she can talk to him about everything and calls him 'Lethallan' because in her Heart he truly is her brother
One of the persons that could ask her anything and she'd come along and the on the way or later would ask what exactly they are doing and why
but he could even say something like that he'd be going to dance for Arishok and she would just sight and say that she'd go get the scarfs and hold the exit open or something
