My friend just dug out his old x and y era collection, but they aren't all mint but still cool. He knew he had them but was just too lazy to unbox them lol. I schooled him about grading costs, he might get some slabbed but he also isn't trying to flip them or use them for internet clout, etc. Like i got hella baseball cards tucked away in storage myself, but I doubt any pokemon are forgotten in those binders (pretty sure i flipped those for pennies on the dollar back in 2007/08 >_
Lol I was on a wild luck streak with night wanderer recently only bought 4 boxes and had an SAR in each one 😂. 3 out of 4 were fezendipity tho. But agree there's no way people are just "finding" there old collections like this. I know people that haven't touched a card since 99 and know where there old cards are lol

Around the 1:50 mark i do that too i go through totes and totes of old stuff and stuff and whatever i come across lets say its comics or cards ill do a spread and take a puc or video for archiving . The difference is that i dont say anything vs what the og poster was saying.

I found a binder of gen 1 in my wives mothers basement in a pile of musty boxes and freaked out. Her brothers told me I could keep them and honestly some of my best gen 1 holos came from that haul. Not that I’d want to sell them anyways ha.

So, finally found the box and BAMM; forgot that I had bought so much sealed stuff - 30 blisters of Blue Eyes White Dragon UNl, some sealed boxes and more. Lets just say this saved me for the last months of 2019 and all of 2020.
To think most people will show off themselves claiming that they have some old stuff in their attic or something despite they're faking it. People love to conceal themselves from their true colors just to amaze others, and i loathe those kind of content creators related to pokeinvesting.
