I love meringue and was so excited when my Vita-mix Aer arrived yesterday. Unfortunately the egg whites don't get very stiff and don't fluff up the way it would in a mixer. 4 large egg whites only raised about an inch. They also get too warm very quickly. The container was $140 and I am contemplating returning it for a refund, as making meringue is the primary reason I purchased it.

It Only works for non-skim milk.
NO Other milk works.

How come when I try this all I get is bubbly milk? Is it only because I just have high and low?
