    The time was PERFECT for this drink. It was so COLD here 15º in the sun and and I made this hot chocolate as soon as I got in. It took about 30 minutes and when it was done it was well worth it. I toasted my marshmallows on top and wow this was GREAT!!!. PICTURES next time which will be soon here.

      Jen thanks for your post. As usual you have amazing ideas to add. I wish I had've added toasted marshmallows in the video. 😊

    Ok, I’m loving this recipe and I had EVERY THING in my pantry and it was so COLD today that when I came home today, I went right to making this drink. Thank you. Oh, what was the brand oven you have? I’m in the market for a replacement for my convection microwave oven counter top model as the maker is out of business. It lasted 15 years.

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jen! Yes it's a new oven. Only a few of it's kind. It's a full fledged Microwave, Convection Oven and Air Fryer. It's called the Breville Combi-Wave 3 in 1 Oven. I love it! You can cook a whole chicken, braise beef, make casseroles and at the same time can be used as a standard Microwave oven. Has lots of presets for different recipes and it's surprisingly accurate. The soft close door is worth the price of admission and it has nice chimes for sounds instead of the traditional Microwave. Looks really good in the kitchen. You can that here ➜ breville.oie8.net/BDoAq

    This looks amazing! For the dairy inclined viewers, would we use milk instead of the white ingredient you put into the blender?

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, absolutely, as long as you're using some type of aerating device or the Vitamix AER Disc to foam up the milk. That's the secret to making it so very creamy.

      @@BlendingWithHenry awesome, thank you for the recipe and reply!

      2cups Milk + 1/2 cup chocolate chips + 1/2 tsp of any flavor you like (peppermint, orange, vanilla, coconut)...6mins on HIGH in the Aer will turn it into hot chocolate.

    You read my mind! I have been really wanting a warm chocolate beverage recently!!!
    For medical reasons, I've recently had to go on a plant-based diet that is much more restrictive than veganism. I wonder if any of your viewers will be able to help me find a plant-based milk that I can use to make this recipe.
    Here are the ones that I definitely have allergic-type reactions to so I can *NOT* use:
    -soy
    -rice
    -coconut
    -oat
    -any kind of nut including almond, hazelnut, macadamia, or Brazil nut
    -legumes including peas or peanuts
    -hemp hearts
    I am currently using flax milk sparingly but it has a pretty strong flavor in recipes like this where it is a large component. Am I missing any other options? Thanks!

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm thinking Sunflower Seed Milk or other types of seeds like Pumpkin.

    • @mungbean345
      @mungbean345 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BlendingWithHenry Great idea! 😯 I seem to do okay with pumpkin seeds!!! Thanks a million! I've never made my own plant milk, so it'll be a good new project.

    Hey Henry. I'm been scouring for an answer, and you're the go to guy. Does the Stainless Steel 48 oz container have the same minimum blend batch size as the 32oz? I've seen that the tall 64oz, the 48oz, and the 32oz all have a similar lower dimension, but would that include the 48oz SS? My low profile 64oz is killing me with too much ice cream and nut butters being made at one time.

    Do they make a Narrow Body Jar from the 5200 for the A3500? Or does the Steel Jar resemble the 5200 Narrow Jar (obviously smaller) but do you see a resemblance in the shape of the Smaller steel jar to the 5200 jar? I'd like to get a A3500 but I like the feedback on the 5200 for smoothies.

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 48oz container is the same body design as the 64oz Tall container. It's redundant to use the 64oz Tall container if you already have the included 64oz wide container.

    • @Jadd612
      @Jadd612 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BlendingWithHenry the steel 48oz Jar looks like it resembles the E310 48oz jar on video - like the lower section isn’t as wide as the standard 68oz A3500 low profile jar - really enjoy your videos, thank you :-)

    Can you taste the chickpeas

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Monica ! You cannot taste or smell any of the chickpea juice. There's no odd flavor. All you taste is 100% creamy hot chocolate. The taste and smell instantly disappears once it's incorporated into the chocolate mixture. Even the topping has no taste or smell of chickpeas once swirled in as shown in the video.
