Mocha 2024 3d Camera solve - adding your own geo

  • So this video starts out assuming you have done a camera solve and Layout alignment. But what you really want to do is bring your own Geo in to test the track. If you've been following these tutorials..this scene will look familiar. If not...go here and watch this video

      I thank you very much. I am curious how Max or Maya spits out Geo. Mocha is "Y" up where as Blender is "Z" up. And also rotated the geo 45 degrees when it exported it for some reason. I even applied/froze the transform data to reset back to 0.

    How can I transfer tracking data from Mocha to Blender?
    I have a rather complex scene, and I need to model buildings in Blender for future use. I want the 3D models to interact with the buildings and the road. However, I'm not sure how to achieve this. I've already tried, but as soon as the video starts moving, my models start to shift.

      just export as USDA or USD and import the USD scene into Blender..thats it..USD is the new hotness for all 3d packages to be able to chat with one another. I just tried it..works just fine.

      fbx also work..

      @@a.d.d.theater8023 Yes, I do export in FBX format.
      However, I am only good at the floor. Unfortunately, I can't add a plane to the building...
      maybe I'm not very capable))))
