I was quite shocked as well over this until I reminded myself that Aoyagi won their showdown in an IWGP Quadruple Crown vs KENSUKE OFFICE Championship non-title match earlier in December. Takeshita had his number for the past three years but Aoyagi has really shined this year - becoming the first KENSUKE OFFICE champion back in November and now in this victory to become the New Japan Cup champion. Next stop, Swerve Strickland and the IWGP Quadruple Crown at Wrestle Kingdom.
@@puroresugaming5848 yeah he really shinned this tournament as well as others again I really enjoyed this tournament I just have one suggestion for a match takeshita vs Jack perry for the KO championship to raise the prestige of the new championship

I was actually going to do Perry vs the former KO champions from the first year and then have Takeshita prove himself on a legendary level by facing Misawa at Wrestle Kingdom but I'm going to go with Takeshita vs Perry instead! This way I can revisit the Sid-Misawa match from the Beat the Clock series from August and then have the former champs square off in a No. 1 contender elimination match at WK. I'll save Takeshita-Misawa for a later day - maybe for the mid-season show in January. Thank you for assisting in booking this card!
I just have one more idea long story telling Kenny Omega the longest reigning champion this year beaten everybody that has been put in front of him but he wants more he wants to the greatest to ever do in the greatest wrestling league there for if he beats whomever his opponent is at wk he wants a shot at the tv title once he reaches sweet 15 he will challenge who ever holds the crown because he will make history because he is Kenny Omega and he's beyond elite
