Yeah, I wasn't ready for that finish!

It was quite a year for Yuma with the KO Championship, the New Japan Cup championship run and then winning the Quadruple Crown - maybe one of the best single-year campaigns in my 15 years doing this. I'm looking forward to seeing what he does in the G1 in a couple of months.

Kaito trying to pull what his tag team partner Yuma Aoyagi did - use the KO Championship into a potential run for the Quadruple Crown. Kaito was there once four years ago but it's been a slow journey back to the top. But it could be a short title run if Gabe Kidd has anything to say about it.

Swerve and Yuma Aoyagi are the first two to enter the G1 competition.

Tanaka is sneaky like that - every time I count him out, he comes out roaring and proves me wrong. Every single time.

MJF is definitely on the list of potential names on the G1. I was actually starting to build up the 20-man roster as soon as the card was finished. I'm hoping to have it finalized after the BattleBowl series that's about to start.

Beat me to the punch! I was going to post today's card after I got done with work in an hour but yes - this result means we get Tanaka vs Austin vs Omega for the WAR Championship.

We got Austin vs Tanaka in the final WAR show of 2024, so there's still a chance at Austin-Omega II.

I know, I was quite bummed over that one.

I know, right?!? Man, I'm so bummed over that. Talk about a missed opportunity right there. I would have loved to see Swerve try and steal the title away from Jay White a second time right after winning it.

I'm really sorry for the delay, I've been playing catchup from the holidays. I'm currently working on Monday's Diamond Ring show before I run Tuesday's WAR show later in the evening. I was hoping to do today's big show later tonight but it might be posted tomorrow.

This was a huge turnaround for MJF. He hasn't been all that successful in the past few years and he was also on the chopping block, so I was quite shocked over this run.

Thanks! I think this will become a new yearly tradition for November. It's a nice way to start the year, giving the younger wrestlers a nice spotlight.
