- First of all, I hope that everybody is safe. We live in a difficult time right now, all around the world, facing the biggest crisis in generations. Nothing is more important now than the health and safety of us and our families. Maybe, it's all this craziness that sparks some ideas, like making this video. It's been years since the last one, but you know, when you just have this really strong feeling that you need to do something. And if it helps somebody, if it makes at least one person smile, then it's worth it! We need to help each other and this is the only way I can - by sharing a passion. Like always.
Formula 1 in the 80s. We look at that era with rose-coloured glasses, without any doubt. But still, there is just some special spark about the turbo era between 1980 and 1988. So, why not to add a bit more into that admiration? Drivers taming 1,000 bhp beasts, risking their lives, but still having fun. It was a different era, without that much media involvement and when TV coverage was still 'meh'. There were many different drivers, heroes, like Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Nelson Piquet and many many others, from various countries, but with amazing stories to tell. But they all had one thing in common - a love for racing. Have fun!

Formula 1 is a world of glamour, passion and excitement. With some incredible stories and tales, many of which have good endings but there are even some sad ones. Only the best of the best can drive those beasts around all the challenging tracks in the world - from Monaco to Suzuka. Legends like Fangio, Clark, Stewart, Lauda, Prost, Senna, Schumacher and Hamilton... just hearing these names gives you "goosebumps"! And only true fans can understand why we sit in front of our TVs from March until November and watch the greatest drivers in the world chasing that championship trophy. It's a long journey, but only a few can achieve their dreams.
Formula 1 is also my big passion. I have followed this sport for more than 20 years. While we may never understand feelings of racing drivers, we, fans, have some special feelings too, when we see our favourites succeeding. And that is something hard to describe as well. Then comes "When Words Are Not Enough" as I try to share my passion and represent all the emotions to you, the fans. To never forget those special moments. @@canismajoris6733of course no. +1000hp in qualification trim, no safety whatsoever, tyres that doesn't put power to the ground spinning wheels in every gear, manual trransmission, no driver aids, cars that dont produce much downforce.

Why do you want those 3 with you?, if a computer is not in the car they would have never been champions, probably the only one who could adapt is Alonso, racing was way better without technology.

Those were the days. Although a fan of Ayrton and Gilles I had great respect for almost all pilots. Overtake of the century Piquet on Senna Hungary 1985. Another pilot that should be remembered especially for his wet weather driving skills is Stefan Bellof, driving mainly for Porsche on world endurance championship, but completed only one and 1/2 seasons in F1 1984 and 1985 (killed as Spa on 1985) with Tyrell. His record at Nordschielfe on 1983 stood till 2018.
Piquet overtakes Senna in 1986 at Hungaroring. Bellof record 6.11.13 for me is much more greater then in 2018, because Bellof put that time with all other cars on track, and he has to fight his way thru.
