20/21 PGP Winter Series Race #5

We wrapped up the Winter LO206 series at PGP Motorsports park. Mother nature was kind to us and kept the track dry for practice, qualifying, both heats and the final!
Austin only ran a couple of laps in qualifying and landed himself the number 11 spot out of 34 racers. Heat one, he worked his way from 11th to 6th, with no incidents. Heat 2, we got the GoPro strapped on, and off he went. He dropped a spot in the start and then made two clean passes to finish heat 2 in 5th. Going into the final, he was surrounded by some great racers! The top four broke away and battled through the entire race. Austin was a lone racer most of the laps with little excitement to report.
Randy had a great race as well with his best placement of the season at #6.
Sundays race wrapped up the LO206 season at PGP. Austin was able to hang onto the 3rd place podium spot for the series, with Kieran Rogers taking 2nd, and Lindsay High taking 1st. Congrats to all the racers.

curious what lap numbers y'all would be getting in a rental kart vs. a custom kart? the consistency is insane with the diff
AdyStephen the lo206 kart is about 10 seconds faster a lap than the rental kart

How different are these karts from the rentals? Looks like theyre lighter/faster, but also have better suspension/geometry? Yall seem to be brushing off the kerbs that I wouldn't imagine taking on the rentals
looked it up, yeah a little faster and more custom. Looks fun! Will get to my own karts some day. Until I get to
@@dhruvb38 I just skipped arrive and drive and went ahead and got my own kart. They are much much faster and there is a large community behind it. You'd have no idea until you get into it
You are correct Dhruv they are about 10 seconds a lap quicker at pgp and just lighter and adjustable. You are doing good in the 82's. Probably just a few adjustments and you can be in the 80's. Let us know if there is anything we can help with.
Dhruv you should also come out to one of the races and talk to a few of the racers you will be surprised how much they will share with you.
@@629racing alot of the people will help you out, there is some bad apples in the "game" but for the most part it's a good community

i really like pgp and i wanna get into 206 but i just do the rental league
If you are going to be at PGP tomorrow we will be there racing in the endro, come find us and we can talk and lead you in the right direction.
