Valentina, so nice to find your uplifting and refined style. I'm 60 and have seen the trends come and go. What remains for me is Beauty in my home and around me. It elevates and dignifies our world. Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder but to my mind there are classical refined lines and dimensions and things well made that last. John Saladino has always been my favorite designer. It's great to see talent like yourself. You've got a great sense!
I notice that when Jack is there recording you ( I could hear his little snickers occasionally lol) you are so relaxed and have a sparkle in your eye. I love how into each other you guys are. ❤️ My hubby and I have that too. 🥰
Thanks for your tips. You are encouraging my emotions to remember the individual who I used to be before going through several hardships in life. Thank you for being unique and smart on how to teach me in a simple way how to do and what to do. Letting go is so hard for me for more than 30+++ years. So with these tips, God is helping me to move forward, let go and show amazing uniqueness that is me. Thank you.
I've gone from high fashion city girl to country bumpkin, with some hardships thrown in, you know, just to keep me on my toes. Girl, we're stronger than we think, and, I think I'm on an adventure of rediscovering who I am. There was always a little country in me when I was in the big city, and now, there's a little city in me in the country. Makes for an interesting design concept. lol
I like that your way of styling is beyond what’s “trending” and your own home reflects it. That’s why you’re my number 1 youtube home designer to watch. ❤️💙
Excellent tips! I have a very small home in Kansas, and these tips are relevant to me., so they should be relevant to anyone. You don't need a million dollar house to level up a bit. Thank you for your tips, and the very entertaining videos! -And people, hit the like button for crying out loud! If you learned anything from her at any time, then take a a second to hit that button. She doesn't get paid that way, but it will boost her in the algorithm and more people will see her great content.
Thank you, Valentina. Love your sugesstions, especially the basic one of clearing the room first. Personally, tne thing that has helped the most is looking at my home as a person I'd like to spend time with. And, I want people, who come here, to see a place of autheniticity, substance, quality, and of joy. I've found that shopping at estate sales and cosignement shops helps my search for quality pieces at a more afordable price. Plus, those pieces have already demonstrated that they can stand the test of time. The biggest problem for me is patience. Thanks for your encouragement!
Sometimes, instead of paying attention to every little detail that you say out, I just get immersed with you speaking ❤️ You are a really good company whi I can listen to for hours ☺️☺️
Love this Valentina! I've been watching your channel for over a year now and you've helped me to have a more discerning eye for design while I'm renovating our first home. Thanks again!
I’m moving into my very own home after years of working towards that goal, but starting from scratch had been a daunting idea. Valentina makes decorating a gracious and elegant home look easy. Thanks for the confidence boost, and thank you for sharing your expertise with us!
Even though my home is more Hamptons style, I still love watching all your tips and styling that I’ve been able to incorporate into our home, I’d love for you to show a Hamptons decor style home in an up coming video, even though it’s not your style. Cheers from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺💙💖
I don't know why youtube decided to suggest your channel but I am incredibly happy that they did. I've been binge watching your videos for the past few weeks and I've already ordered a couple of things that will update my rental apartment.
So delighted I stumbled upon your Valentina Style. Each video I am able to enlighten my space with at least one of your tips. My home continues to grow more lovely using your design tips especially the "go big" look. Thank you
My home isn’t boring but coordinating the style is the tricky part - really working on that million dollar look of my Victorian row house. Love your tips 🏡
I really needed this information. Quite timely. I just cleared out my condo to have new walnut floors installed. Even if I am not selling, I will use this list as I move stuff back into the room. TY TY TY
What great ideas, we're currently painting all inside of our home, and it's so nice to have empty rooms, of course we're not ready to buy new furniture yet. (I wish) Thanks for all the tips, you always have and make every TH-cam video so interesting and you laugh & smile so easily. Thanks Valentina. I have a granddaughter, same name 👍
Talking about rooms and their purpose. When we built our house, we have a den/office to the right as you enter our home. It turned into our son Noah’s toy room and he is now 18! It is still the toy room with stuff we have never gotten rid of and we all still say, ‘it’s in the toy room. 😂 I would really love to be an office! He’s going to college in the fall, maybe now? 😂
Just about to close on our million dollar new build and I was genuinely worried about styling it and making it look cheap. This was perfectly timed!! Thanks for the tips so that I have something to guide me.
Love all of these modern luxury tips! I would LOVE to see a luxury bathroom video soon. Finding luxurious looking bath mats that still function and can get wet is cramping my modern style! Help Valentina!!!
These are great tips! I know all about the feeling of having everything removed and only bringing back in things for staging purposes. It always looks good!
I found this soooo HELPFUL and easy to follow. Thank you for your straight forward and clear presentation. And I totally agree with you on your comment about ROUND RUGS!!! (Maybe you could consider doing videos on the Essentials for Every Room?
Just discovered you last week - great discovery as we move into our new home on Tuesday! I'm more of a 'Modern Farmhouse' gal, but love your tips anyways!
I love your tips, changing my house right now and I am finally at the stage of decorating btw we are definitely friends blankets and pillows are my soft spot 😍
Imagine this~~~ our house started as a grainery!!! Has 6 inches of cement walls!! We have put drywall over! We have been here 35 years, still working on it!!
Valentina this is a great video. I love that you are so authentic and relatable. Keep up the good work and totally missed Jack. You guys make me laugh. Could you do a video on how to design and create a cohesive style for couples with different decor preferences without looking too much. Can this even be done. Lol.
Thank you so much!! It can definitely be done, but it does take some conversations to get there. The key is to dig deeper than the actual style preferences to get to what do people want to feel in the space. That's the key!
Love your easy, informative style along with your expert advice. I would love to know the sources for some of the furniture you used in the photos. At 5:44, the gold based sofa and tables. At 6:08, the table. At 6:22, the gold based chairs. At 14:10, the gray sofa and chairs. I didn't see them in the links you left in your video description. Thanks!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️ you cracking me up Val … pillows and blankets 👍🏻 … what coffee table should i buy when I have two sofas next to each other both sofas are 96 long AND they have to stand in L shape position , can’t be facing each other … is just how the room is .. ??? PLEASE RECOMMEND SOLUTION ‼️‼️‼️
I truly enjoy ALL your videos , taste, style and tips. I love the bright and moody design of your home. Can you tell me the brand and paint color of the room you are taping in today. ;)
In every video, I am distracted by the double doors that have a large gap to another room. It seems like the doors don't fit or they are bent or simply don't fit. A strip of molding should take care of this issue in that gap. I want to add that I love your spaces. Your rooms are close to perfection and therefore when I see this gap, it stands out. Thank you for your informative lovely videos.
Just a heads up but when I go to the link for One Kings Lane, it takes me to an empty wish list. Think we need your log in or name or something in order to view the items you have chosen.
I have a 2 story great room I would like to replace the builder grade ceiling fan for. I am thinking a white fan with 5 blades in a transitional style would be best. Right now our fan is so high even with a tall ladder so o will need to get a longer down drop pole. What is the correct size fan for a room your living g room size and how high up should the fan be? We live in the south and use our fan daily 6 mo this/year.
This is an odd question BUT do you think if everybody did start doing their homes this way - then after awhile since everyone is doing the same thing that it will cheapen the million dollar high end look in the future? I know high end is starting to catch on for a lot of people and they want that dream home so instead of moving - they are now just decorating or remodeling to achieve a more high end luxury feeling. I'm wondering if this will then become "dated" in a few years OR it will always be the top thing to achieve for anyone? #milliondollarhome
I stay away from 1st Dibs...their prices are way inflated. I have sold a lot of collectibles on eBay in the last 5 years so I know what some items should sell for. Just a word of caution. :o)
Ok 35 inch walkway is a great tip. I have a kitchen nook that currently is housing a 60x40 rectangular table and 6 chairs. I always push the table against the windows to make walk space after meals. Now I know why...a walkway. I've been shopping for months and nothing seems right. Either too big or too small for my family of 5. I will measure 35 inches from the nearest countertop then the ??? unknown space needed from the opposite wall to pull out the chair then I should find the size a table that fits. Is there a specific number of inches for pulling out a chair?
Bit off subject, but need your Help!! Believe u did something already but can't find it. Anyway, looking for some great hotel fragrance ideas for my home. I've heard 1Hotel in Miami, Westin, Marriott, Mandalay Bay are just a few examples. Would love your thoughts & suggestions! Thxs!
If the room needs more light and there is a window opposite, a mirror. If the opposite wall has something not so beautiful e.g. The door, you may not want a reflection of it so maybe art? Also be mindful that real fires can cause damage to expensive artwork so consider that too.
Toys? We have too many toys..so do they all go in their bedroom when picked up after they play or is there a nice way of having them in your living room?
The star of this video is that gorgeously feminine top with sheer poof-sleeves (actually it's your hair, but I can't buy that lol). I don't suppose you have a link for this top? It's not in the show notes.
It’s funny that it’s bothering so many people. 😅. We’re looking at some options for our kitchen (the other side of this wall) that will help determine what happens with this door.
@@jackfussell3617 Just curious if you are keeping the kitchen wall? I think the division keeps your home feeling grand/formal overall. Removing it to reveal one giant great room might make the look a bit more casual as has been the trend for the last few years (imho). Although, you could always continue adding additional extra luxe furniture pieces as you’ve been doing lately to keep it elevated…keep us posted!

Using these tips immediately, love that you always include visual examples. Feel that "stagers" is so underwhelming than what you really do.
Hi Valentina, as a fellow Atlantan (Buckhead), I’ve recently put my house on the market. Your tips in this video were so helpful….thank you so much!!

"How do you know if it's luxe?"
A: it can have texture and even a sheen, but not shiny. Shiny is faux luxe.
