Can we please stop acting like max is the greatest of all time and a second faster than senna. He’s amazing but like any other great driver he need the right car. We see that now. All that „he would win in a haas“ talk was getting so annoying cause it’s so obvious that it wasn’t true

This underdog thing is getting to me... why is it bad that Max is winning. Max and RB are doing a better job then the rest and there for they will win. If Lando and McL were doing a better job they would be winning. And Lando getting driver of the day makes no sense because Max did a better job this time around. Lando behaves like a child and the engineer acts like a parent that cant say no... thats why they lost. Lando is fast but not a complete driver (like Lewis and Max are)
Driver of the day is a popularity contest mate no need to take it personal, it’s all from fan votes, and they’re bored of Verstappen winning all time. Verstappen won’t get his credit until it’s an even title fight
You completely skipped how Lando and McLaren again showed how they are way faster than RB at the moment, in the last part of the race. The last 15-20 laps were very tense.
He started gaining on Max until GP told Max to start pushing, and from there the gap remained stagnant. However, it wasn’t like an Imola where us in the video became excited due to Lando getting extremely close. He never got within
Barcelona was surprisingly a great race. Back to back bangers after the atrocious snorefest that Monaco was this year in particular. Mercedes showing up to McLaren, Max demonstrating why he's the goat, winning on the third car, and i gotta admit I'm little by little becoming fan of Russell
I wouldn't go that far. It was better than quite a bunch of races this season, but I wouldn't say it was a great race. Most overtakes were still the boring ones at Turn 1. Some were interesting though that's for sure, but there wasn't much suspense for the lead, nor for the other places other than who would get the 8th to 10th spots (I really wanted to believe in Sauber until that 4.8 second-pitstop...). Norris was too far behind after the first few laps to catch up, despite the fact he ended up at 2.2 secs at the end

The McLaren strategy to try and get the tyre offset vs Red Bull was pretty much exciting up to the very last second (he needed just a couple more laps), Lewis snatching P3 from Russell, Leclerc nearly side by side with Russel going for P4 on the last lap, so many different strategies used in the top 10 keeping us on our toes. What more do you want? I bet if Lando had caught Max and won you'd be screaming instead how great the race was. It was a close call for so many positions. Not to mention Max and Lando having to put in like 20 back to back Quali laps.
@@Zwodo I never saw Lando catching Max happening, he only gained about a second and a half in 10 laps when he needed to gain over three, he only really caught up in the very last laps which was obviously too late. Trust me, I wanted to believe in it, but to me it wasn't happening despite McLaren clearly having the best car. Max just outdrove again as he often does this season. Most strategies were pretty similar, just different laps, the only real alternative strategy was Norris' and Zhou's. And sorry but when you have such gaps between places, I wouldn't call it the best race ever. When I thought there were some mix in the pack, it was just because of guys having pitted or not, in the end the top 10 remained pretty similar except the fall of Russell from 1st after the first corner to fourth and Norris' messed up start that cost him the win straight away and until the checkered flag. Now, read again what I said earlier, I never said it was a BAD race despite what you may think, I do think it was quite nice, but it wasn't really top tier as a whole. But definitely one of the best races this season that is for sure given the absolute snoozefests we had for the first few GPs
I find it interesting max made the move outside of t1 on George everyone was shocked, as soon as Lewis does it on I side and hald pushes Carlos off everyone goes😮😮😮omg has the best. The commentary team did it aswell just wierd same move yet it's more shocking when a person pushes someone off to do it
3:33 Why would Mercedes sabotage Russel while he is the lead driver and the future of their team... The only driver being sabotaged in Mercedes is Lewis Hamilton since he is leaving... And he still managed to outperformed Russel today just shows how good he is 🐐
