- The 2024 Austrian Grand Prix was our third sprint weekend of the year, and brought us one of, if not the most dramatic moments of the year as Max Verstappen and Lando Norris collided while battling for the lead of the race with just a handful of laps to go. Both the McLaren and Red Bull driver dived into the pits for repairs, handing the lead and eventual win to Mercedes's George Russell, taking his first win since Sao Paulo in 2022. Oscar Piastri finished second, and Carlos Sainz picked up third place for Ferrari. Haas picked up twelve points in a crucial race for their championship battle. Charles Leclerc capped off a weekend full of Ferrari pain with a non-points finish despite the Verstappen Norris crash that happened ahead of him. Sergio Perez wasn't able to pick up the pieces for Red Bull in place of his teammate, but he did have a majorly damaged car for the entire race.

I can't understand why people want Alonso off the grid, the guy is simply Aston's best driver and they talk as if taking him off would make the car go from shit to Renault 2006.
I'm even more pissed off with people wanting him to leave to put Vettel in with the excuse that he's old, but Vettel is already considered old in the category, only he's a "younger old man".

Funny how when Sergio pushed Oscar off the track he got a penalty, but no penalty for Lando for pushing Max off track.
Also no penalty for lando for driving on track with a broken car, Perez got a penalty at Canada…

Norris and Verstappen was like Speed with Stenhouse Jr. in ARCA at the 2008 Hantz Group 200 at Toledo. Difference was that the ARCA race was the season finale and they were fighting for the title. First Stenhouse Jr. wrecked Speed then Speed did the same to Stenhouse Jr.
