I grow jalapeños, habaneros and green/red chili peppers every year to make my own hot sauce. I add fresh turmeric, fresh garlic and 3 fresh secret ingredients that I also grow. I've been eating peppers since I was little and up till this day, I got to have my spice, otherwise food will taste bland to me. I carry my bottle of hot sauce in my purse when I go out (just incase). Thank you Doc.
I eat hot peppers at least once a day. Habaneros are my go to pepper, they're my favorite. I grow most of my own and freeze them, dehydrate them or turn them into sauce. I grew around 70 chili plants this year.
Very interesting. It took me a long time to be able to eat chili peppers, but now they are a regular part of my diet. I was recommended capsaicin to help reduce stress. So far, eating them has been very helpful. It could be a placebo effect. Nevertheless, they are delicious!
Hello Dr Hashmi. I was at a restaurant and the smo burrito was not hot enough,so they added habanero, and jalapeno together! Made me ringing in ears, blurry vision, and only the left side of my head sweated!!! Still was excellent meal.
I have a daughter that can't get peppers hot enough when she eats out. This reminds me of her. I am tearing and blowing my nose and she's saying it's warm. Lol
Doctor I don't have much issues on chilli pepper but I did find on my research that those eat chili peppers daily are very free of cardiac disease but if they are on process foods and eat chili peppers there are 30% chance of hypertensions or strokes. I also find that those who stop eating processed foods were able to reverse NCD's and not on medications any more.
So, I sometimes eat a whole chilli, when it's not too hot, and when I'm eating fast or the food is tasteless. And since I was looking to lose a little weight naturally, I might eat it more frequently. Especially since the weather's cool now
Greetings Dr... without chilies my life wouldn't be the same... I love the spicy heat and flavours of them... I eat various types from dry roasted to extra hot with just about anything and I mean anything... is eating too much bad?
I love chilies, and I born in Chile 🇨🇱 ❤, about salt I’ve seen doctor here in TH-cam channel talking really good stuff about salt unbelievable they said that salt it’s not bad after all.
Don't worry if you can't eat chili peppers. No such thing as a super ingredient. Just sleep more, move more, practice gratitude and kindness and eat a whole foods, plant-based diet.
@@SELFPrinciple if you have Gerd, try not drinking fluids with meals. If you need to, just sip enough to wet the inside of your mouth for swallowing, but avoid swallowing whole mouthfuls of fluid. Drink your whole glasses of water between meals when meal digestion is done, and don't nap on a full stomach of anything.
The thing I do is either add a full table spoon to a bottle of water adding squeezed lemon and a two table spoon of honey shake it well and drink it. Takes so good and your stomach is just feels hot
Chili peppers definitely make a difference. I’ve been eating garlic and have the chili peppers on constant rotation in my house. Usually it’s just their second album but occasionally I will listen to their first. And I read all the books that guy wrote who sings for them. It’s definitely good for your health. I have been alive for 29 years and I am planning to keep chili peppers around for awhile so I can live 29 more years. Thanks doc!
I eat LOTS, and I mean LOTS of capsaicin. It would be fair to say I'm an addict. I suppose there are worse things to be addicted to? I have loved the flavors and heat from capsaicin so, so much that I learned to grow them and I grow the hottest varieties that can be grown. This year I have lots of Moruga Scorpion and 7 Pot Primo...along with Ghost Peppers. I eat 3 to 5 of these super hots per day when I have them...and I'll have them fresh until the end of October. I make lots of sauces and spreads that ideally will last me into the next growing season. I am a health freak...and I study my metabolic health daily by wearing a Constant Glucose Monitor and getting quarterly labs. My last labs came in August 5. My fasting insulin was below 2 (Incredible score!!!!). Fasting glucose was 88. A1C was 5.1. Triglycerides 81. HDL 59. My Homeostatic Model Assessment for Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR) is 0.4...meaning I'm definitely insulin sensitive. A good thing. My one number that was not "in range" was LDL which was 156. As I'm learning more and more, on a low carb protocol? And with the solid markers I have? This isn't unusual and a great deal of research being done as I type this indicates "Elevated LDL is absolutely not a problem when a person is insulin sensitive." I don't give peppers and capsaicin all the credit for solid metabolic health markers...but...capsaicin and peppers are a very serious part of my life and I love them. I do practice a low carb and intermittent fasting protocol. I practice 18:6 and 16:8 daily with a 36 hour fast each month. Enjoyed the video, I'm now subscribed. Thank you.
One other comment because I saw a comment below. Capsaicin is awesome for gut health. It really helps get the gut to produce more and more mucin. And yes, that can lead to cramping and diarrhea. More mucin and health gut bacteria is a good thing. Eating something like a "Moruga Scorpion" or "Carolina Reaper" on an empty stomach, or was I call it, "naked" would cause abdominal pain for sure. And I know this because I've lived it. But it subsides and resolves itself quickly. I absolutely love peppers.
I eat 5 grams of cayenne pepper twice a day I definitely also have seen a difference in my head had a very serious ulcer for 12 years that is now completely healed my blood pressure is normal and I never get sick have been doing this for 3 years won't be stopping anytime soon capsaicin is extremely healthy for you
Do you add chili peppers to your diet? What kinds do you eat? The most I have done is jalapenos and cayenne pepper.
I like Thai Chilli Peppers 🌶️😋😋

Ohhh wow ; that’s a lot of Chilli peppers 🌶️; how do You make Room for all ??
@@Wiseamphibian87 I own a few acres.
You should consider selling the sauce. If it’s in small batch, selling in a farmer’s market would be cool~ 😊

chili peppers sure does help lose weight i have been taken it in capsul form. from 80kg to 76kg in 3 month. And have plenty of enege.
I eat peppers and garlic every day. No longer crave salt. If I eat out and salts added I can taste it and it ruins my meal.

What is the difference between Red chilli pepper and cayenne Pepper?
I used to eat chillies a lot daily,
Me too 😁
Most importantly, spice is DELICIOUS!!!!
I take a mixture of 1 tablespoon of Cayenne pepper. Squeeze half lemon and 2 tablespoons of Olive oil every day.
The thing I do is either add a full table spoon to a bottle of water adding squeezed lemon and a two table spoon of honey shake it well and drink it. Takes so good and your stomach is just feels hot
Very interesting. I haven't tried it. I do love having lemon in my water :)
