Not necesarily Green only but Red auroras depending on the intensity and elevation.
Dark mode on a cell phone can capture what your eyes cannot detect.

I've actually been seeing a faint Green cast to the evening 🌆 light here in the Southeastern United States! I'm going to see what I can see!

I live in NC so we don't see anything like this. It's amazing I just love how it looks and I'd rather see this more than the solar eclipse.
