CPKC 528 with One of the Last KCSM SD70ACe Locomotives Built at EMD London Comes Home for a Visit

We always like to see CPKC 528 rolling through London. It usually features some interesting power, like the CSX Chesapeake and Ohio Heritage Unit a few months ago. But this power was pretty important to London's railroad history. The end-DPU on this train was KCSM 4132. It was part of the very last order of 10 SD70ACe locomotives built at London's EMD locomotive facility before Caterpillar closed down the plant to throw over 700 workers out on the streets in 2012, ending London's 60+ year history of locomotive manufacturing by GMD/EMD. Today part of the former factory is home to HCL Logistics; so at least there is still a bit of a connection to the past.
Also of note was the buffer car after the CP 9374 leader - an old Southern hopper with the original reporting mark on the side.
