A rip down Brown Pow in Bellingham, WA. All time conditions in JANUARY! Nearly 1700 ft of loamy descending. Can't beat this trail when conditions are this good.
Awesome video, thanks for making this it gave me the confidence to try it out myself. I just got back from shredding with my dog, good time! Make sure your derailleurs are on point you’ll be shifting a lot!
Thank you! Glad you got out and rode it. Brown Pow is an awesome rip. The dirt was fantastic today. Rode Double Black and Double Down this evening. Phenomenal!
@@LoamerMTB I live in Maple Falls and the dirt has been primo out this way too! Haven’t gotten a chance to ride those trails yet, I’ll have to add them to my list of trails to hit. How are you liking the Maxxis DH tires? I’ve got a year on Butchers that came with my Spec Status and they’re almost ready for the trash bin. I was thinking of the Schwalbe Bloody Mary and Big Betty. Be cool to know what you run these days. Happy trails Chris
Love the new channel name bro! And the production on this one! Cool to see what you’re running out there for setup, that’s a lot of coils working for you! This trail is sick! Things really heat up @6:40 skidding into that steep and rooty section! Looks like that bike gets great traction on the steep climbs too. Those flats came in clutch a couple times too, quick dabs for the save! I could see the initial hesitation on that left hand catch turn where you fell last time, handled it like a boss! Stoked to come ride the PNW soon!
Nice! It was a breeze. Check out this fork guide from Ibis. assets-ibiscycles-com.s3.amazonaws.com/files/Setup-Guides/2023_Ripmo_AF-SetUp_Marzocchi_Suspension.pdf
It’s a coil fork medium coil. Fork rebound is around 10 clicks from closed. The rear shock is a DVO Jade X. Not sure on rebound settings offhand for shock. Do you have air Bomber Z1?

Hi mate, hows the z1 fork?
So good! Stiff and super plush. Small bump compliance is amazing. Works great for the wet roots.
Whats your psi nd rebound settings? Im 78kg,
Whats your rear suspension?
