I just found out about them yesterday. I feel cheated.
I love how she doesn't use the music video for the song as an angry post break up song, but as a confident "let the masses know" kinda vibe.

I love that she is literally belting this in a library. It's like he's saying stuff quietly in private behind her back, and she's singing this in a library a place where you're supposed to be quiet. Great song. I would also like a to give a tip of the hat to TH-cam's advertising algorithm, which paired this video with an ad for some kind of ab workout. Bridget was already inspiring me as a bass player. Now Rachael is making me want to go work out.
This song brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Rachaels voice is so so special. I mean to evoke pure emotion w/ her tones & melodies are a gift.

Also, on another note, we were blown away by your show with Velray at 6th and I in DC. It's a completely different style of music, but you and Velray sounded like a warm bubble bath feels. The songs were inspired and beautifully crafted.

I love this band, video and song! I found this band from the suggestion of my smart and beautiful Therapist, K( I hope I can say this?!)(K probably will not see this, so I think we and I am all good!) I have nerve damage in my fingers and arm on my left side from a brain injury. but she is so dang smart with exercises and ways to trick my brain to get my arm and fingers to move! She suggested that I listen to Lake street Dive. she is amazing to work with, so I will never forget her and this Summer and now I will never forget this band and I will always associate their songs with her and the time I have been able to spend with her since she has taken my fingers that were clinched up in my palm and my elbow that was locked up to freed up and starting to move! I hope to get to see the band this Friday, but my Left leg is effected with limited movement and balance too .Thank you, K, for the work
