Not many people review it but glad you mentioned Caudalie The des Vignes. It’s one of those “if you know, you know” fragrances. I layer it with Molecule 01 or Escentric 01. Understated loveliness.

Hint: Because this mixes with our own “skin scent “ the smell really comes out if it gets hot, or you sweat 🥵.. whenever I’ve gotten compliments I happen to be post-workout / or in a rush and sweaty… the smell of the perfume whiffs around stronger. Also, you will stop smelling it 10 minutes later but this will stay on your body for HOURSSSSS
I was looking up glossier You dupes and your video was uploaded a couple hours prior to my search so I felt like it was a sign! I am new to fragrance and have stayed away from it because I am very sensitive to smell, so my house and I dont smell like anything lol. But I did wanted something 'barely there but if someone walked by would notice' type scents so thank you for this! I love this series, I hope you do more!!

I LOVE how glossier you smells on myself, I HATE how it smells on my fiancé-and I also hate how it smells on my two little girls. Moral of the story: she is a morpher based on body chemistry so be careful! It also smells very very different on all 4 of us

I love a combination of powdery, sweet, floral, musky, fresh out of the shower scents! I have Glossier’s You, Byredo’s Blanche and Bal d’afrique. Smelled another 13 (next goal in my collection) and it’s exactly the same as these scents. I love to hoard the same scents because you can top them on each other and they’ll create the most amazing scents

I already have a small vial of Juliette has a gun, and Lake 11:11 and they are amazing but I definitely see the “emperors new clothes” idea. Try bath and body works body sprays. They always have sales. Also victorias secret is having a 5 for $35 sale on their body sprays which is like 7 bucks each. They will get you through until you can get perfume and they are highly fragrant now a days.
I am testing Glossier You. Did not like it a lot at first impression, but I am giving it some time. Maybe I'll like it more with the time. Great video with nice options. Want to try out many of them.

I find "Not a Perfume" is very noticeable on me, and I don't overspray. I do get compliments, so it must project, too. Must be my skin chemistry? I plan on trying the "Intense" version sometime soon. Loved this video! 🥰

I have Not a Perfume and just got their Pear Inc and it's so good. Very similar vibe but you can really smell that pear note as well. Also, the cling! I could smell Not a Perfume on the seatbelt of my old car because I'd spray it right before walking out the door for work in the before times.
Ugh I just recently got the full-size of Pear Inc. thanks to that Sephora tester kit w the certificate (such an amazing deal if you want Pear Inc specifically). It smells so absolutely divine to me. Familiar, and divine. The pear, the musk. It’s not the most mature scents i’ve ever smelled, but I just adore it

I enjoy “Amateur fragrance hour”! I have a big fragrance collection and I enjoy hearing others talk about it. From what my nose “knows”, ozonic= a scent similar what the air smells like after a good rain storm, or crispness in the fall. Love from the spooky Pine Barrens in NJ
If you’re into perfumes I suggest checking out Imaginary Authors. They have really unique scents and package them in little book boxes. Their whole concept is coming up with a story to go with the scent.
Oooh okay so this might be a stretch but if you want to smell what ozonic smells like, you know when you get a facial and they steam your face? Some steamers have an ozone setting and it’s just soooo…well when you know you know and I’m sure you know! So good.
I would love some recommendations for scent subscriptions. I would love one that just sends you new ones to try based on the notes you like. Btw the Juliette has a Gun Not a Perfume is one of my favorites!! My husband always says he doesn’t smell anything when I’m wearing that either..

Off of your list, I have 5 of these; You, Not a Perfume, Molecule 01, Iso Gamma Super, and Bal d'Afrique. I guess I have a type. Anyway, I think Dedcool's Milk may fit this based on the notes, I have yet to try that one. Edit: I also think that Pinrose Pillowtalk Poet would fit this category too, I really like it.
If you're going to do more perfume videos (which, yes please) it might be cool if you did them around like scent profiles or a specific top/base note (cause I have no idea what Glossier You smells like, but I would understand what like 'winter citrus perfumes' would be...or in your case, 'nice sweaty musk' :P). You describe scents really well!
This is going to sound weird, but… Glossier You, to me, smells a lot like a No. 2 Pencil. There’s another kind of clean note that I pick up on, but I largely smell no. 2 pencil. If you can get a sample or a test spray, I’d recommend it. I think it’s a pretty tough one to accurately describe
Oooh this might have just sold me. Light Blue was my signature (Aka only perfume I owned) for years until I realized it doesn’t perform that well on me. I love the scent though and have been looking for something similar.
Og glossier fans remember the solid version they used to sell but discontinued :( I felt like the fragrance on that one was way more apparent and lasted a quite a while 🤔

I have glossier you and I do like it but it kind of has a strong pepper note that sometimes I can handle and sometimes I find it way overpowering and gross. It’s weird. So I do love the idea of something similar but a little different!!
I cannot smell 11:11 at all. I sprayed 10 x and didn't get anything at all. I do love Molecule 01. Kristen Ess used to make a perfume called Translucence One and I absolutely adore it and they don't make it anymore.
Have you tried any of the Philosophy ones? I really do like them for layering. I do wish they’d make more parfums instead of toilette so they last longer. And you were speaking of sweet warm scents the Fresh Cream warm cashmere it’s a great base of a sweet scent that if you layer it with more musky or a scent that has some tobacco in it you will end up smelling amazing!!
I've never left a TH-cam comment before, but I just had to tell you that I bought the Caudalie des Vignes Fragrance and I LOVE it!!! It is so similar to You, but with a little hint of grape and not as peppery. I adore it! 😍 Smells like I just stepped out of the shower when I apply it. I have been a long time subscriber and thank you for the recommendations! Have you tried the Jo Malone Sea Salt perfume? I am curious about that one.

What are your thoughts on Arizona Bloom by Floral Street? I have heard it has that Le Labo Another 13 clean essence but it's also warm and milky but I'd love to hear your thoughts
I loved Glossier's perfume when I first got it but occasionally now when I wear it all I can smell is pepper 😒 and it's been a little off putting. Other times it smells glorious. It's truly a gamble 😅
I'm very particular about scents and have found few that I like. But of the ones I do, several were on this list! Sadly I don't like 11 11 even though I wanted to. I think that Dossier Musky Musk and Woody Sage belong on this list. What scent profile would I look for when searching for new scents?

Ambroxan and Cetalox are the same molecule.
Hedione (methyl dihydrojasmonate) is the fresher, cleaner part of jasmine.
I really recommend Commodity! Vetiver and Velvet are my two faves

If I’m nit mistaken ozonic refers to ozone, which people say is that hazy post rainstorm scent. Does that help nail it diwn at all?

Does it smell different on skin than in the bottle? I didn’t really like it spelling from the bottle but didn’t try it on skin
Escentric Molecules 01 is so good. It’s like pencil wood shavings and raw peanuts, which sounds horrid yet it’s beautiful and subtle.
Off of your list, I have 5 of these; You, Not a Perfume, Molecule 01, Iso Gamma Super, and Bal d'Afrique. I guess I have a type. Anyway, I think Dedcool's Milk may fit this based on the notes, I have yet to try that one. Edit: I also think that Pinrose Pillowtalk Poet would fit this category too, I really like it.

You gotta try the Dylan scent by Rosie Jane. It’s amazing and smells really similar to the Lake 11:11 scent. It’s just a bit woodier.
If you're going to do more perfume videos (which, yes please) it might be cool if you did them around like scent profiles or a specific top/base note (cause I have no idea what Glossier You smells like, but I would understand what like 'winter citrus perfumes' would be...or in your case, 'nice sweaty musk' :P). You describe scents really well!
This is going to sound weird, but… Glossier You, to me, smells a lot like a No. 2 Pencil. There’s another kind of clean note that I pick up on, but I largely smell no. 2 pencil. If you can get a sample or a test spray, I’d recommend it. I think it’s a pretty tough one to accurately describe
My friend and I love Glossier You and it reminds us both of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue
Oooh this might have just sold me. Light Blue was my signature (Aka only perfume I owned) for years until I realized it doesn’t perform that well on me. I love the scent though and have been looking for something similar.
Man hermetica is pretty cool. I have two samples of the Jade888 and it is so amazing.
Og glossier fans remember the solid version they used to sell but discontinued :( I felt like the fragrance on that one was way more apparent and lasted a quite a while 🤔

I use molecule 01 with Glossier you. I cannot smell molecule 01. But with YOU, my scent feels brighter.
I have 5 items on this list and I love them all. This list is on point. Veronique Gabai scent booster La nuit, byredo Mojave ghost, and ds and Durga I don’t know what.
I have glossier you and I do like it but it kind of has a strong pepper note that sometimes I can handle and sometimes I find it way overpowering and gross. It’s weird. So I do love the idea of something similar but a little different!!
Diptyque Fleur de Peau smells very similar too
I cannot smell 11:11 at all. I sprayed 10 x and didn't get anything at all. I do love Molecule 01. Kristen Ess used to make a perfume called Translucence One and I absolutely adore it and they don't make it anymore.

Have you tried any of the Philosophy ones? I really do like them for layering. I do wish they’d make more parfums instead of toilette so they last longer. And you were speaking of sweet warm scents the Fresh Cream warm cashmere it’s a great base of a sweet scent that if you layer it with more musky or a scent that has some tobacco in it you will end up smelling amazing!!

I've never left a TH-cam comment before, but I just had to tell you that I bought the Caudalie des Vignes Fragrance and I LOVE it!!! It is so similar to You, but with a little hint of grape and not as peppery. I adore it! 😍 Smells like I just stepped out of the shower when I apply it.

What are your thoughts on Arizona Bloom by Floral Street? I have heard it has that Le Labo Another 13 clean essence but it's also warm and milky but I'd love to hear your thoughts
I loved Glossier's perfume when I first got it but occasionally now when I wear it all I can smell is pepper 😒 and it's been a little off putting. Other times it smells glorious. It's truly a gamble 😅
This may sound crazy, but I think the scent change may be related to the foods you eat- especially if you consume a lot of garlic/ onions.
No Clean Reserve? Radiant Nectar or Skin i feel are similar to Glossier You.
I'm very particular about scents and have found few that I like. But of the ones I do, several were on this list! Sadly I don't like 11 11 even though I wanted to. I think that Dossier Musky Musk and Woody Sage belong on this list. What scent profile would I look for when searching for new scents?
