  • Here I show how I went about making some spinning metal targets to shoot at with my airguns. They are pretty simple to make and very rewarding to plink at. Make yourself some and enjoy.
    Thanks for watching!

    Nicely done. Thank you. I could easily buy targets similar to these but spending long periods of time in my warm basement with the woodstove going during a cold winter day sounds infinitely more rewarding. We often forget that the joy in making things adds immeasurably to the joy of using them. Now I'm off to look for smoke scrap steel.....

    Fun to make. I like them, specially the very small ones😉👍 Would advice to mount the spinners in a pellet catcher. Also easy to make. The lead you can recycle for casting other bullets....Thanks!

    Nice job mate, that sort of target set-up is expensive to buy and you've made your own and saved heaps, and it'll never wear out - well done cobber!!!

    that's clever but, tell me, isn't it a bit dangerous if you miss the target and hit the bolt? no ricochet?

    • @GreenArrows0705
      @GreenArrows0705  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Franck Pierorazio you are correct Franck, a ricochet is possible. I live on two acres with space between myself and the neighbors. There is tall grass and trees with unoccupied land behind where I am shooting. Even with ricochet, it would be difficult for the pellet to leave my property and or hit something unintended. These are meant to be shot with airguns and soft lead pellets that deform. Shoot at your own risk and be aware of your backdrop and surroundings. Shoot safe my friend!

    Length .75" and with .25" for tang?
    Looks like drilled hole would be 5/16"
    the square looks to be .75"
    Ummm! Am I close?
