Sometimes when you create attachments they have artifacts or something is wrong with the mesh. Import the attachment into Meshmixer and try the inspection first. If that does not work remesh it. If that is unsuccessful make it a solid

Ensure that the attachment geometry correctly intersects the desired target reconstruction
