Hello, I’m a practicing dentist and I’ve had a few patients request these. I’ve been tinkering around with test models of my own teeth before I get too deep. In my office we primarily use Medit for all things CAD related. I wanted to pick your brain about the best settings for retention. I’m struggling to find parameters that work well and most test that I’ve printed have fit well on the model/cast but no in the mouth.
    Thank you!

Hey there! It's great to hear that you're experimenting with CAD models for your dental practice. Achieving the perfect fit can be tricky, especially when it comes to retention. With Medit being your primary CAD tool, have you tried adjusting the resolution or perhaps the support structures? Sometimes fine-tuning these settings can make a big difference. Additionally, ensuring accurate measurements and considering material properties can impact the final fit. Keep experimenting, and feel free to reach out with any specific questions. Happy to help!

Hi Bro! Do you know, how can I convert sdfa to stl, via the config menu? I need to make the components of the implant (analog) in the folder in stl format, as well as the scanmarker.

Let me make a quick video about it today. I will upload it this evening. You need to export the analog to STL correct?

It could be possible to cut out the windows with Meshmixer. I am not that skilled in MM to be able to tell you more.

For example like a small cross or lions head on the crown that then we print in wax and do lost wax casting

    Hey,
I’m a owner of a workshop and am interested in utilising this software to my production, is there a way we could get in contact? I have some questions and am willing to compensate you for your time. I hope to hear from you soon!
