@@car-diologist… mustangs have been great since foxbody. You just got unlucky. From Bullitt to mach 1 all those owners are taking good care of their cars. S550 is a great first car for someone wanting a manual, they have built in assistance features that youd find in other vehicles….
Dont be lead by people telling you to get a different car, mustang is great, youll make memories and have lots of fun. Theyre way more customizable than any other car out there, truly.

Is the fuel economy genuinely that bad when just cruising around like this?
I would say the fuel economy for this car in general is horrible i fill up once a week while doing highway pulls, downshifting etc.. but i do work remote so keep that in mind. If i was not remote i probably would be filling up every 3-5 days based off how i am driving

@@redbluepill2701I’m filling up once a week but my daily commute is not much during the weekdays. Most of my driving happens on much the weekends when i’m out going to car meets, cruises and chilling with friends
what to look at first when buying one have you got any issue with it ?
I have no issues yet. I would say look out for any dents or scratches. My car had some scratches that needed fixing and i made a deal with the dealership to get it fixed for free from them. I would also ask for the car fax before buying. Do a test drive to make sure the car runs and sounds normal. And check the engine to make sure the car is a v8, and don’t forget to check the oil level

I own an S560 GT premium with performance Pkg. Absolutely hate it. Took me over 40myrs to finally buy my new Mustang, only to be extremely disappointed. It's overpriced, overrated and underbuilt. Save the misery and just go buy an Acura or Lexus product. I'm trading my Ford in asap.

@@CoyoteCamm I've got my eyes on the Lexus IS 500, Acura TLX (? S TYPE ? ) or I can just give up and say the hell with it and buy a new Nissan Frontier. I've been an American V8 Muscle and sports car guy my entire life. It hurts to feel like our American Manufacturers today are nothing but cheap chinese parts assembled by 3rd world country laborers. There is nothing American with our so-called American Manufacturers today. It's embarrassing

@midnight347 I've wrote way too many times what happened. List is too long. FORDS are si,ply crap. I also have a brand new 2024 F150 4x4 given to me by my employer. Over $50k for that POS. I take care of it, but what a joke for that much money. Cheap, cheap, cheap, that's Fords build quality
