Absolutely jaw-dropping masterpiece of a video! Wow. The look of these engines is enough to captivate a buff, but you've got every other possible factor added in on top of that. Awesome locations, unique angles, and wild full-throttle EMD music! Thoroughly incredible work, my man!
Thank you brother man! What can I say, the URR is the perfect combination of sights and sounds of a steel railroad, it’s a fun time. I’d love to get you out here to enjoy it, thank you again for watching bro! Glad you enjoyed!
It's too bad that no one thought to take movies of the Union when they were moving slag pots from the mills to Taylor Dump in West Mifflin. If you follow the line it gets really close to Thompson Run Road, close enough to feel the heat from the slag pots inside a passing school bus. I remember.
Nice catches I get the Steelton & Highspire R.R. Once in awhile. That R.R. services Cliffs Steel Mil a producer of rail. And Dura Bond Pipe Mill. They service with EMD-1200 series. This plant is the former Bethlehem Steel plant. Nice video.
Thank you very much!! Steelton and Highspire looks like a very cool railroad to check out. I’ll have to check out your channel! Thanks for watching, appreciate it!
Probably the equivalent of four truckloads of slabs per car & they don’t even chain them down. I’m sure the logistics department loves the efficiency of shipping by rail road.
Thank you so much! I know the morning loaded slab train heads south through there around 8:30-10 am ish, coke loads head north after 10 am. I believe mornings into mid afternoon are typically good around those parts though!
my favorite engines of all time swithcers
Some of my favorites too!
Awesome content as usual, great documentation of a great operation!
Thank you buddy! I appreciate you watching!

These industrial systems can often be surprisingly scenic, and this one has always looked particularly interesting
I agree! It offers a whole different type of scenery and aesthetic.

Great video! How often do the URR trains run through Bull crossing and through that tunnel in Dravosburg?

Ok, I appreciate it! I’m going to have to check out some of those spots eventually
Too bad you can't get access away from the grade crossings. The bells are annoying as all get out...
Is what it is. I guess there’s always gotta be one in the crowd..
