NEW HOLLAND 8970 SPRING DISKING! DAVIS FARMS WINTER TILLAGE DISCING PT1

Davis Farms is seen in this video disking a field with a New Holland 8970 pulling a Taylor Way 580 tandem disk and a John Deere 8245R pulling a 32 foot wide John Deere 637 tandem disk. They are disking in some cotton residue in a field that will be moldboard plowed and planted into peanuts for the 2018 growing season.

I pull a 30 foot John Deere 330 disc behind my 8970 New Holland no problem. GREAT TRACTOR.

I love the Ford and the Hew Holland tractors and always our Gleaner combines we were die hard blue silver! Never knock the other brands because they’re just as good too very much I love farming period it’s my blood 🚜🇺🇸

Actually he is trying to pull it through a very sandy grass waterway with pretty deep washes in it. Just could not get enough traction in that sugar sand. I wondered who was going to catch that in this video. Thanks for watching.

How is that 8970 holding up for you? We have a 8670 that is used 365 days to feed we love it.

These are not my tractors and equipment. I just video them. They have had it a long time so it must have been good for them.
