    Things I used:
    Gorilla Glue: amzn.to/31nW6oi
    BUT USE THIS INSTEAD, Barge Cement: amzn.to/2OUZioH
    3m Painters Tape: amzn.to/2qc5GxB
    Vans Authentics: amzn.to/2qc5WN5
    Camera: amzn.to/2nSiBnN
    Thanks for watching! I hope this helps.

    Vans need to stitch that together and maybe cut out a v on that part to add a softer material and it might even go well with their brand.

    Good job, unfortunately in a couple of weeks the super glue will break the shoe fabric in several cracks, first of all use industrial glue for canvas shoes with rubber so the shoe will last a little longer with flexibility.

    nice. i skate so i've done all kinds of shoe repairs over the years, posted some videos too. i usually use contact cement for foxing separation. i like the tape to keep the edges clean, that's not something i had considered. my shoes are usually pretty well beat by the time i'm gluing them back together, so i'm not usually super worried about aesthetics

  • @kotymccallister5150
    @kotymccallister5150 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is that super glue? Super glue dries hard, not really what you want for a flex point. Try using E6000 or something like contact cement.

    • @im_notta_youtuber
      @im_notta_youtuber  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah but the fix was meant to be temporary using whatever was around the house. Barge cement or e6000 is definitely the way to go if you have it around.
