    I almost never comment but we played some bullet matches the other day. When I saw who I was playing I was like I’ve seen this guy! Just a surprising experience and some good games 👍

    11:25 even the simple Nxe5 and instead of stopping your calculation after Qxe4, you should've went further and seen Qe2 forcing the queen trade where you are up a clean pawn and have better development and no problems. That simple find would have change the entire trajectory of the game and saved you the hassle that came. When you have an advantage in the opening, it's crucial to take advantage of it and put the game away or at least fully in your control as quickly as possible. The more nonchalant you play, the more that initial advantage slips away. Not that d3 is bad, but making your pieces passive and hampering your development makes your life way tougher for no reason. If you master that, I can guarantee you you'll win a lot more games and save yourself the trouble of winning the game over and over again.

    Don’t overthink it, in the first game you could’ve just played b3 and trapped the bishop instead of giving your own one away

      @@KnightmaresChess But that only works after he gave his own bishop away to lure the knight away, so trapping the bishop "instead" of giving your own away isn't a thing.

    I have one simple question. Are you satisfied with the quality of your chess? I'm just curious as to what is your main objective. Do you want to be a good chess player, or do you even consider yourself a good chess player? Either way, is fine I'm just trying to understand. By the way, I am not criticizing you so don't take it the wrong way please.

    • @ApexChesss
      @ApexChesss  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Appreciate this question actually. Lately I've been extremely unsatisfied with my chess if I'm being honest. I do consider myself a good chess player but this completely depends on what we're comparing it to. If we compare to the average person then yeah I'm pretty good, if we're comparing to any kind of tilted players then I'm not

      @@ApexChesss I get. I understand. I don't think you take enough time to look before you make moves. You move too quickly. Hey, overall, I think you are doing a pretty good job. I'm throwing my two cents in because you ask. Just giving you something to think about. Your opponents do the same things too. I'm a little shocked at some of the moves they play. It's all good though! Thanks for replying so quickly! You are much better than the average Joe!

    • @ApexChesss
      @ApexChesss  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Tommy12561 yeah but I think that's just the 10+0 pool. If I was playing 15+10 then I'd use more time but since everyone plays so dang quick in 10+0, I have to try and move faster otherwise I'm just gonna get into time pressure and make an even worse mistake
