Thanks Warren, The rod I was using in this vid throwing light weighted plastics is a Shimano Ultegra 3-6KG and Shimano Ultegra 4000 reel, 30 pound braid with 50 pound leader. When throwing heavier weight plastics or bigger hard body lures I use a heavier action rod, makes dragging the jacks out of the snags quicker./easier.

was about to comment on an older video asking if you had any luck with jacks yet haha :) i had afew hours yesterday at that spot down south but didnt have any luck with the jacks unfortunately hopefully next time 👍
Hi Jesse, they can be a frustrating fish to target but I think that's why it's so rewarding when it all comes together. Keep at it mate, that spot I met you at has plenty of jacks in it, it will get a bit easier once the water warms up a bit more.

Hey Jason, nice spot to camp, as for the fishing in the creek......hit and miss. Plenty of small flathead in there. Whiting just inside the entrance on the sand flats on an incoming tide. The odd jack upstream if you are lucky, but the creek has been fished hard and full of swimmers, kayaks, dogs over the last 2 months of Xmas holiday tourists. Better creeks around the area to fish in my opinion. Good luck and enjoy your holiday mate.
