Thank you so much for instructions for left-handed crafters. I knit right handed, but have been unable to crochet right handed. Your video is so easy to understand and follow, much better than any book I've come across.
Just from watching your beginner videos this morning, I've learned how to single crochet, double crochet and triple crochet... and I learned what SC, DC and TC means! AND I learned the difference between each one. AND I learned how to mix it up using different colours. Holy cow!! This is a great channel, I hope you keep it up, much appreciated! I can't wait to learn how to make a flower! :D
Thanks for you videos of left handed crochet... Im left handed and found it hard to try and transfer right handed way to left now i dont have to... I can finally crochet! Thanks CrochetGuru :)
Been trying to learn to crochet left handed for ages! thanks for the video i FINALLY now know what i've been doing and where I have been going wrong. Thank you for speaking in my language! None of the weird lingo you have in books. Very clear :)
I am left handed and really enjoy your channel. I have been crocheting over 40 years but sad most crochet books don’t speak to lefties. I just needed quick review of treble crochet.
You're welcome and thank you for your post! As for your question... In the US the half treble crochet goes like this Yo twice. Insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (4 loops on hook) Yo and draw through two loops (3 loops on hook) Yo and draw through remaining loops (1 loop on hook) Now if you are reading a UK pattern the half treble crochet is the same thing as the half double crochet! I hope that helps!
Thank you so much for posting these videos. All of my family that crochets lives in another state is is Right Handed! So I get so confused! And all the learning books are for right handed people of the few that are for lefties are super expensive. Yours are also the most thorough and show everything! Again, thank you so much! Although I find this particular stitch to be the most challenging. But practice will get me there.
Hi. Thank you for your left handed crochet videos. They make crochet really easy to learn. A crochet pattern I want to use asks for a half treble crochet. Could you explain how to crochet that please? X
How come when Im pulling through the treble, the second of 4 loops is always so tight to the hook that i need to let go of the working yarn to pick up loop2 to help it get over my hook? This slows me down a lot. Is there any way to prevent that from happening?
love your videos made dobby doll from harry potter and used your videos to figure out the lingo...lol..now I am making something eles and it says a 3dc and not finding a video for it unless it's said different? can you help please
Thank you for your easy to understand videos and also for thinking of us left handed..

Trebel in U.K. anymore is the U.S. term for double. That is what my friend in Australia said to me.

Is there a video like this for right hand? I can’t seem to find it. Thank you.
it’s kinda late to ask that, this was seven years ago.
Sorry, but the triple crochet for the US is not the same as a treble chrochet for the UK. SC=DC, DC=TR and TRC=DTR (first ones US, second ones UK).
