- Wow. It was such an honour to open Miss Saigon in the Motherland, Manila. The very place that made this show possible! It was a chaotic day of rehearsals, backstage crazies and then an emotional show. Topping it off the afterparty was AMAZING (hence the lack of footage around that point of the video HAHA). But the most relaxing part was probably at the end eating jollibee drive thru at 3am :)

Watched last night. You were amazing, Abi. And the rest of the cast was superb. The production was spectacular. It was a bonus to meet you so kind and sweet after the show, and like I told you "ang galing mo!" Good luck on the next few weeks. Glad to see every bit of your filipino-ness in this video - the adobo and rice with spoon and fork, the jollibee, the radio sing along, the family and loved ones always being part of the day and the 'thank you Lord'. I saw the show on 31 Mar 2024, 6PM. Still in awe. It felt so surreal. Still couldn’t believe I’ve seen Miss Saigon. It was all I have ever dreamed of and more. You owned Kim so boldly. I loved how connected you guys all are in the stage and w/ orchestra and the people!! Loved how many times I cried because of how my inner child is jumping in joy and how moved I was with the story (first time seeing the whole thing). During the final bow, when all of the audience were standing and applauding, I couldn’t hold back my tears and then I saw you crying at the stage. I felt we all connected there. So proud of you! If only I could watch all of the shows! ❤❤❤

Hi! I just watched a few days ago. I've loved this musical for years, I know the original cast is so iconic and there is a lot of pressure to play Kim but you absolutely did it justice! Probably one of the best renditions I've ever seen. You sung and acted your heart out and you have a beautiful voice. Nigel and Seann and everyone were amazing too. Congratulations on a great performance!

I'm fromdown south of the Philippines and I had the good fortune of booking seat sales from Philippine Airlines last Jan and flew for an April show.
I was 14 when the Miss Saigon cassette tapes came out in 1990. All the girls and I memorized the songs from top to bottom and we all wished Kim would end up with Chris back then...
In 2013 (or so) when the Musical was recorded for movie (starring Eva Noblezada), my best friend (since 1989) and I went to the movies and lip-sang along, taking care not to disturb other movie goers. It was a different experience but unforgettable too.
I didn't think I'd go to Manila to watch Miss Saigon as I'd have to spend... but I did!
Now, I'm 48. I was seated way up high at the Solaire. I was with my little family - my 25 year old son (who.played Thenardier in their school play) was three rows away. My boyfriend (first time to watch a musical) was ready to be in his best behavior (no chatting or wise guy comments) and he was great! So i was sandwiched between my well behaved boyfroend and a lady who claimed to be in the first Miss Saigon Ph tea. How lucky to be in Lea Salonga's team right? But man, she sang along with you! So much for theater etiquette.
But I did enjoy your show despite the overly enthusiastic and inconsiderate seatmate ! You're a beautiful Kim!!! I felt the emotions. You were truly wonderful!
I'm so glad I went!
I'm still singing along and replaying the scenes in my head.

OMGGGGG I just watched the show 2 days ago and it was amazinggg. I know that this production will always seen in the shadow of the original but this was a different spin from the original runs and you all did an amazing job making it different but still do the story justice. Even though there was a technical issue at the first major set transition, everyone in the cast did an amazing job! Props to Abigail for doing Kim justice and Seann for a new spin on the Engineer, completely mesmerized everyone with your guys’ work!

Last august 2023 i visited Australia for the first time in my live, coming on vacations from Colombia. It was my very first time in the Sydney Opera House and was fortunate to watch you and the MissSaigonAU first performances. I think i never will forget the moment and the experience of seen you, all the ensemble and THE show. I still remember the sun and moon performance. But i leave remembering you!

Saw the show last Sunday and I must say that you and the whole cast are amazing!!! Miss Saigon has been one of my faves since high school and I'm glad that I got to see the production now with this cast. Grabe sobrang galing!!! I love every bit of the show and it's now a core memory for me. Grabe yung iyak ko sa "I will give my life for you" and the flashback or helicopter scene. It still feels surreal to me. Kudos to you, Abi, and to all the people who made Miss Saigon in PH possible!!! 💗

Just watched the show last night. It was a dream come true. Though I'm seated in the balcony row MM and a bit far but it is okay. The audio was so clear and it did hit me. Saw the musical yesterday. You were absolutely insane. I may have not been alive to see Lea Salonga leading the role as Kim, but I’m glad to have seen you take it! You were amazing! The day after seeing the musical, I just had to search up who played the role as Kim in the current Philippine cast and sure enough you came up! I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but your talent is truly out of this world. I hope you will lead in so many other musicals in the future. You have a lot in store for you, I just know it.
