My Thailand Dive & Adventure Retreat sadly came to an end, but before I leave Thailand, I'm spending a few days in Phuket! Staying in Lub D Phuket Patong for the first time. I've been reunited with Karen and together we rented a scooter and explored Banana Beach, Nai Thon Beach and Freedom Beach. How do you afford to travel? - I now earn a full time living through creating these TH-cam videos, affiliate links, selling digital products and my clothing line. Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

Hey colette, what I usually do is take a waterbag/drybag with me and snorkel with it on me, it also acts as a object that passing boats can see, and they know your there, anddd itl keep all your valuables safe 😊

Hey if you have no idea how to ride a motorbike is there somewhere they can teach you, or is it fairly easy to pick up?

Schweppes a Thai drink? It's from Germany but nonetheless pretty good, yeah :D
Even if you get an international drivers license unless you’ve done a motorbike test in the UK you’ll still get fined in Thailand xx
When you swim where you keep your belongs?

Do you think there is a cut off age for hosteling ? I remember by my thirties I didn’t want to stay in dorms any more, and now I’m more likely to stay in hotels than hostel private rooms. Of course you’re much less likely to meet people. Interested in your take.
I think it’s more based on the age you feel than your actual age. Knowing hostels are generally filled with people age 18-38. And if you want to/like hanging with that age bracket.
When you go of swimming solo or with others what do you do with your belongings like phone and keys. I don’t like the idea of just stuffing them in ur bag and asking someone to watch it ☹️ my idea would be to put it all in a plastic sleeve bag and dig it slightly under the sand with my towel above it. But what do you do? 😂
I Guess it depends on exactly where I am but most of the time in Thailand I just leave it in my bag on my towel, I’ve never heard of any stories of people having their things stolen. Sorry, I know that’s probably not what you wanted to hear 😅

That’s the case a lot, but the friends who you meet who you really like, you stay in touch with and make an effort to meet again ☺️

Nope, they don’t even ask to see a regular license, the renters will rent out to anyone
