- Backpacking Australia East Coast 🇦🇺 Episode 4 📍Noosa
The Australia East Coast backpacking trip continues to Noosa. I spent 5 gorgeous days here. I explored the unique Noosa Everglades with Habitat Noosa. I hiked around Noosa National Park to the Fairy Pools. I went SUP boarding in the Noosa Marina. And I stayed in the most BEAUTIFUL hostel called Bounce Noosa, it's really going to be hard to top this one.
This video was filmed in February 2023.

FAQ's
How do you afford to travel? - I now earn a full time living through creating these TH-cam videos, affiliate links, selling digital products and my clothing line. I used to simply just work any temporary job I could find to save up to travel! I budget the money I earn meticulously to reach my savings goals using www.backpackingbananas.com/pr...
Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

I love how detailed your videos are, providing bus info, cost, what you get with your money. Always very insightful
Ahh Noosa was one of my favourite places while backpacking Australia, thanks for the memories! ❤
Great vlog wonderful Christie!!! 💖 Noosa looks incredible!!!
Just got to the part where you found yourselves on a nudist beach. I've got a really bad blind joke but I'm blind, so I'm allowed to say it. Haha. Plus it's relevant for the section of your video. How do you spot a blind man at a nudist beach? Oh come on, it's not hard. 🤣. Couldn't resist. So far it sounds like you have had an amazing time. Loved your little nature p spot. 17:26 Clinging onto that tree for dear life. I'm sure. The hostel you are staying in Sounds awesome too. XX
That hostel is absolutely beautiful! Definitely noted for my trip next year ❤ thanks for sharing
Noosa is so fun! Have so many good memories of surfing there.
Looks amazing 🎉🎉
Great to this as I missing it on my Oz tour some years ago as flew to Cairns from Brisbane

Been a long time coming ❤️❤️
We need more of Koala-Christie 😂❤
Oh my goodness girl. I've so missed your uploads. I haven't yet watched the video so I'm about to go and do that now. I've been waiting so long for this. I hope you are enjoying yourself and I'll be back once I've watched the video. Lots of love me and guide dog Marty. Xox
Loved Noosa when I stayed there in 2007 while backpacking. Such a beautiful place 😍
Such a good spot hey! 😍
Love ❤your videos
curtains- since traveling in india by train i hang my own longy, sheet, towel, even ask to hostel for a sheet . it some thing to condier when you pack- bring a versatile big dark fabric - for your privacy, can be a towel too- you dont use it at night anyway
Currently watching this from the dining table in Bounce Noosa 😂
Loved this so much - like taking a mini holiday. You really know how to have a good time.
Word of warning from an Australian about ordering fish and chips here: "dory" is often a term used to trick people into ordering nasty cheap catfish from Vietnam ("basa"). There is usually another better fish on offer at fish and chip shops here - just ask.
Great video. Aussie accent is getting good 👍
Girlll I just found you and am addicted. Hopefully we cross in travels :)
Brilliant vlog.
Thank you 🥰
Love the Aussie accent you have picked up!!😂
would love to see a budget travel video for Aus- i have no idea about prices there
Hi Backpacking. Loving the Aussie series. When you go diving, do you wear any sort of ear protection ? I know diving deep waters can cause ear pressure which can be damaging to your ears. You don't want a tear of your ear drum or an ear infection, which can cause severe pain, hearing loss, or tinnitus. Your too young for a hearing aid. Best wishes guapa.
I’m really debating whether to book the Everglades as I’m only on Noosa for 2ish days! Is it definitely a must do whilst I’m there? X
Hi sister beautiful I love your video ❤
I know the fella said there was no crocs but theres no way I would have jumped in that water...Id even check the shower twice just in case😀
Hello ❤
Are you still on a whv? Trying to get a visual idea for overall lifestyle and travel-work balance to decide if it's something I should try😊
I am not. This trip is entirely on a tourist visa 😊 a lot of people start off their working holiday visas with a trip up the east coast before settling in one of their fave spots to work!
Check out molly Thompson she's currently in Australia on a working visa
What’s the name of the fish and chip place?
i need a date for real! d you do your own editing?
While staying with my sister in Brisbane I used her NIVEA SUN Protect & Dry Touch Sun Spray SPF 50 (30 also available) which is also Water-Resistant. Its great as a clear spray so hardly any rubbing in and can last all day. They also do a bronze version with a tan activated oil in now as well. I've used it over 10 years now and nothing I've found is better and I'm as white as a beluga!!
If I worked for Nivea, I’d give you a job in marketing 😉
@@BackpackingBananas I did work in sales but I always like to promote things that are good 😉
It also contains a shed load of chemicals and it caused me to blister due to a bad allergic reaction, plus any sunscreen with alcohol in it is terrible for the skin, in addition in Oz and Hawaii and a number of other places require specific suncreams that don't harm the sealife and the coral reef etc.
You sound like a new zealander legit 100 % 😅
🍌
Sounds like an NZ accent 😅
you can try some more integrative serf approaches camp and teachers - they work on flexibility , yoga , mindset and movement- it makes allot of since.. also female teachers, Sorelle amore have been to dome of those places i think , alco see her serios about freedom she has sea concepts there too..
I would have taken advantage of the nudist beach. You only live once! But definitely a difference between Americans and Brits 😂
I can’t say I’ve ever had the desire to take my full kit off on a beach😅
@@BackpackingBananas haha never say never!
Should have stripped down on the nudie beach and done a streak down the beach. 😂
It isn't a streak if you are on a nudist beach!
so beautiful you are.....my dream girl
Why are you wearing socks? So English haha
You don’t wear socks with trainers??
Oh no! Don't attempt an Aussie accent! Your awful at it! It's a mix of Kiwi and Aussie!
I think awful is a bit harsh 😂
