You would be surprised at how little u need for this game to run. I'm currently playing on a laptop, not going into specs but it's an office version and from 2021. The graphics part of the game aren't too needy, and only 8 gigs RAM needed for basic play. Do recommend dx11 though. Hope u can play. If not sorry, it's a fun play so far, lots to figure out.

That bar and grill is where i chose for my main base... best spot IMO.. Lots of fridges to keep lots of food so it dont spoil. Also a nice house connected

Hey Kage, to fill your gas tank at a pump it is a pain but you have to move the cursor around where the gas tank is usually located and and look for the pop up.
Another fantastic video! Loved all the exploration, you have me hankering to go for a drive! That house with the fences and garden plots is the one I found while exploring and decided to move into, I really love it. I just built a new UC and workbench when I switched over, they’re pretty cheap. It was a bit of a pain moving my storage over but I loaded up my van and that made it easier. The seeds thing seem to be a random chance whether you get any back or not, but as I level up my farming I think I get better odds. Also, talked with the dev this morning cuz I made compost finally but couldn’t figure out if you add it to the soil or use it as a replacement. He said it’s used in place of soil and will have higher quality than soil bags. Also found another bug
Heya Kage just ur friendly neighborhood vein resident checking in... the way to disinfect the wounds are with cleaning wipes or hand sanitizers they weigh a little to carry alot of em around so dont take many with u on trips ;) but i usually use cleaning wipes then needle and thread and then a bandage when i get a wound thats more then just a scratch just to be safe :) the dead rats i just use for the compost since they weigh pretty okay and u need a certain amount in the bin before you can seal it up and get compost :) and yes You can use the vending machines, you just need to look that the keypad where you would normally type in the number in real life for which item u want from it just remember to bring cash with you ;) ohh ans to check your magazine count press N i think it is ;) and that magazine ur missing is because u made the mistake to dismantle it by mistake :P
Super tips for lock picking! Start in the middle, then make BIG adjustments first. (By starting in the middle you cut it in half. Then go halfway again to the right and the left, never to the far ends. If it hasn’t gotten close by the time you cut it in half three times it’s not your fault; the lock is just way too difficult) Once you see the lock start to turn, note how far it moves. If only a little movement happens, don’t make a .001 degree adjustment. Move that sucker! (With practice you’ll be able to see how much the lock turns once and you’ll know exactly how far to move it. You just need to adjust in the right direction.)
not sure about the town with your base but just past used car lot is a gas station you can use to fill up your car. also im pretty sure that police car had a key in the ignition

Kage, Take the car to the gas station, Park next to the pump and look at the gas tank, the one's on the trucks are invisible, but they are exactly where you think they'd be on a real truck or car. You should get the option to fill the tank if you're looking at the right spot. Some of the cars do have the gas tank cover on them though, you just gotta look at them while standing next to the pump.
That house is the house i put my base because of the greenhouse, and the fence. once you find the RV it gets better because you can go out and if you are out longer than expected you can sleep and cook in the RV. Do not break windows and go through, you can for sure inflict a sever deep wound. You can use the vending machines, put your mouse over the buttons. You do not need a Jerry can, just need a bottle or tub or a canteen, and kind of container, the bigger the better.
Kage you can find gas on gas station and fuel like normal car. You can find a RV fix it and became a mobile base. You gotta find gun store for guns and vests and gears. Take what is good on cars so you can fix the RV plus build inside the RV.
Also the overheating is because of the firefighters pants specifically, they have high insulation, you don’t have strip naked, just change your pants, all clothes have a insulation stat, haven’t seen anyone play long enough for seasons to change but judging by the devs commitment to detail and the fact the month is displayed, my guess is winter will come, so save those warm clothes, but also find cool clothes for the summer, and stock up on sunscreen?? Looks like you can get sunburnt from the icons on the left. As for the infection I believe it will make the wound heal slower and pain worse and eventually make the wound worse if it’s not dealt with, if the scratches are bad enough it’s best to disinfect the with wipes or hand sanitizer and then bandage to keep infection away, deep wounds need to be disinfected, stitched (with a needle and thread), and then bandaged
cant wait to see this game polished, im playing 7days to die but if this game has a higher dificulty than what it is right now by adding hordes diff zombie types and different animals and monsters, and things like challenges in 7days.. this game will become a drug to me lool
For gas pull up to a gas pump at a gas station, find the gas tank on the car and there will be an option to fill up. At the restaurant there is a second floor. You have to go to the back of the building on the left side and there is a door.

Kage, to fill gas you'll need an empty container in you inventory, doesn't matter which type, from soda bottles to watering cans. Once you are standing near a gas supply (car or gas pump), select your container in inventory. There'll be an option to fill from car or pump. Same deal to then fill your car, go to container in inventory and select "fill car" or something like that, I forget the exact wording.
I hate the fast ones too, but hey, at least u get to wait for them to get to you. Also, u can swing on them almost every time at just the right time. The slower ones seem to be able to hit ya more often.
Id love to see them add ear protection along with the reduced hearing but not wearing it while firing causes immediate ringing sounds and loss of hearing over the from continuing to not use it while firing.

There's a gas station, with an empty warehouse next to it. There's a box truck, RV, and ATV nearby, and it's got a natural gas tank as well. And it's way off the beaten path so zombros aren't too frequent. You can pull up at gas stations, then look just behind the left doors, where you might expect the fuel door to be. There's an option to check tank, fill, etc. You can disinfect wounds with strong alcohol (whiskey works, wine or gin do not). You can be infected with non-zombie viruses as well. Take the antibiotics. 😅 That one zombro just got lucky with a deep wound. There's an entire apartment above the bar (if you pay attention, there's lore in the bar that mentions it.) Vehicles DO have a limit for how much they can carry. I'm unsure if the limit is number of items or weight-based.

I know youre new to this game and In loving that its different, but please PLEASE slow down and pay attention to the things that pop up on the screen... I tend to avoid the packaged foods because they cause lethargy and with planters easy to make, seeds pretty easy to find, and bags of soil EVERYWHERE, I tend to just grow onions and carrots and make soup out of them. You grow 4 per growing space in a large planter and the one carrot or onion makes a soup that gives 20-30% satiety per. Easy win in my book
i tried sandbox mode and died a few times it seems that if you die you become a zombie in sandbox mode. if you kill your zombified version you get your stuff back. haven't tried the regular demo though so i can't say what happens if you die in that.
why don't reload? u can reload, no issues. the magazin keeps all remaining bullets and u just reload the bullets missing for your used mags in inventory afterwards. and collect the dead rats for compost production....

CLEARLY it says CLEANING WIPES in the wound care instructions, but he just looks right past it. Any shifting on this game because the dev is stupid vein has been playable for 4 or 5 years when did dead matter come out they brought him in too try and fix dead matter but there was too many people with grand ideas and he gave up on the mess and continued his passion game

you can also use high-proof alcohol for disinfecting. but then you may have to use it from the inventory

they really need to fix how far ahead that first person driving view is. nobody sits that far up unless they are super short
