There's a white flatbed truck that allows you to move workbenches. There are mines around the world too. The one I saw had a pickaxe in it along with limestone. There was also an auto shop with a flatbed truck, and an advanced workbench that can be moved with said truck, and there was even a sledge hammer there too.
*You can move the benches using that red truck. You just have to place the bench on the very edge of the side of the truck bed. Hover it until it turns green and place it. It works I’ve tested it!*
Best base spot in my opinion is either the house to rear of the Bar N Grill (you can use the beer taps for probably a year of more of game days) or the grocery store south of the old folks home on the new map.
You haven't found any yet, but for wounds and scratches there are cleaning wipes. The best way to heal is apply cleaning wipe, use needle and thread to close the wound, then put a bandage on it (type only changes how quickly it heals).
Kage, you were wondering about the need for various tools. When you hover over tools, the tooltip will show you which category the specific tools applies to, i.e.: cross-head and flat screwdriver both count as screwdrivers. Some pliers are considered basic pliers and others heavy pliers. Whichever situation requires only one tool that fits in the category, so free up your carry weight and choose which tools you are lugging around. Cutting tools go from basic to heavy to powered, etc as another example. I've not checked if a heavy plier works for a basic plier as well or if you need both.
24:57 you could have made the limestone powder with the 24 raw limestone and mini sledge, it was the second recipe option, looks like it’s one of the other
Another banger video! There’s a nail and screw blueprint out in the world that will allow you to craft them in the workbench. But I just scrap the ever loving crap out of every house and I usually have plenty. Oddly enough it’s wood scrap and metal brackets (made from iron scrap) that I’m always running short on. I’m pretty sure a bite is game over, but I could be wrong. I got one and some other injuries and succumbed the other day. Lost a percentage of the loot in my inventory, no hotkey items lost, and had to go find my corpse and loot it (it gets marked with a ❌). Not a huge deal, although some of the loot you might lose could be annoying. Anyway, thanks for another great video!
If no one has told you Kage: You can make some pretty insanely dangerous zombies. In your Settings when you changed Base Decay. Advanced below that is a clickable drop down menu. Zombie settings are there. To use the benches, I found NOT putting them in the bed of the pickup, I put it ON the truck, and it stuck to it. A bit "hacky" I know but it worked. Anyway, once again one great video after another. *"Let's Effin Go!"*
The flatbead truck can transport benches and such buuuuut a few times in my games its been bugged so the cars act weird and dangerous but ive been able to move repairbenches etc on the flatbed truck ;) ohh and you can find the recipe to make nails and screws aswell :) (which i just saw at 26.35 that u do infact have 2 blueprints for the Nails so u can easily make em on ur bench :P
Another question you had: Limestone can be sourced from potted plants. You get bags of soil worth a whopping 40lbs of weight each and some raw limestone now and then, but they stack up nicely. I'd say 4 chuncks even from small plants. In industrial areas, there are large yellow steel bins with debris in them, they contain limestone as well. An interesting aspect of destroying potted plants and stacking up soil bags: there is a weight limit to a vehicle's trunk. I haven't calculated it, but last run, I couldn't put in the last 2 bags of soil.
Toys might be helpful with boredom in game, in apocalype legos would probably help you keep sane and could be used to build a pretty good "sand table" of your surrounding area.
I know your pain man, I spent like 30 mins moving a bed from a house into a warehouse one time only to get trapped by it and a wall when I finally set it down where I wanted it, had to hit stuck button and it teleported me halfway across that part of the map
I was thinking that was the case as well. In a previous video when he replaced the doors in his first base he didn’t break out the existing doors. He was just able to build the new one “over” the existing doors and the new door replaced the old one.
Hey Kage, I'm new to your channel and I've been loving the videos so far. I'm not sure if you care much about the graphics, but if you go into your video settings and turn on "Advanced Rendering Features", set your antialiasing to "TSR", it makes the game look twice as good and makes the game a bit spookier as it makes buildings pitch black inside without the lights on. It does however have a huge performance impact.
Sup Kage, Long time viewer from the old minecraft survival (Season 1) series, just decided to come back and see how you were doing, and it looks like you've been doing great!
Kage, I moved an advanced workbench and the repair bench from the fish and bait store in a flatbed truck. 1 on each edge in 1 go, it can be done if angled correctly or the big pick up truck works but struggle to find 1 working
Idk if you can do it with all vehicles but you can definitely move work benches and other things like storage containers on some vehicles. There's a flat bed truck that does it for sure. I think it's usually stored inside a mechanics garage
You need a pickup, bruv, to move stuff. Watched Paul Soares JR put stuff in a pickup and move it just fine. Don't waste looking for rv right now, no sink.
For anyone who just doesn’t know: there’s a difference between flatbed and pickup trucks. Flat, bed. Looks like a truck carrying a trailer without the hitch.
I messed up in my playthrough and turned off the power grid. I couldn't turn it back on. I had to cook food or I'd die.....so that's exactly what I did 😂. Starting over tomoro lol. Also the hardware store is across from the police station. You went to in the last episode.
Take a look at the maintenance cost of fortifications before you place too many. The objects are expensive to maintain. If you don’t keep those resources in the UC the objects will decay. Build wisely.
KAGE...,.lol the way you do things sometimes just cracks me up !!!..... why not just Take the other car that's full of gas and probably in better shape, empty the 1st car and park it on the side??...you CAN put stuff in the pickup trucks...you CAN fill up at the Gas Station....you're not taking advantage of destroying things for parts....then wonder why you can't make something lol Hey I watch EVERYTHING you put out ok, but in THIS game....I don't know Brother
I can take the other car thats fair I tried to put something in the pickup truck and it didnt work. Pretty sure i said this in the video Im not destoying everything becasue i want stuff to respawn in it
@@Kage848I know I’m commenting way late but I just recently stumbled onto your channel. I love your videos and quickly subscribed and have been enjoying playing catch up. Hey there Kage, love the content. ❤ You can pour strong alcohol, such as Whiskey on your wound to sterilize it before you put a bandage on. (Wine, Beer and Gin don't work.) Also, if you smack the glass from farther away or use a bullet, you won't get scratched. And you can use the "clear" option from the drop-down menu to remove the broken glass. Refrigerator WILL keep food fresher longer UNTIL the power goes out. Also, let me know if you decide to try out Multiplayer Co-op. I would definitely be willing to join you.
How often do you go outside and hear your neighbors tv on in their house? Unless they have the windows open, and volume on full, the answer is never. So why would zombies randomly strolling by on the street, hear you watching a movie in the house with everything locked up tight? The devs did it right by the movie not attracting zombies. Quit worrying about it.
If zombies can climb, then you should think how to put the fences...plain for out. As in real life you don't build fences to be easy to climb, common sense you know.
I think we all should be donating what we can to these devs. For such an awesome game to be free, it feels criminal not to
Once in early access, the game won't be free.
@marchendrickson3947 for Vein??? Lol you got ripped off! It's 100% free, man
@@Cautious_Gamer no I wouldn't expect it to be
I agree. I like to support games that I think could be great.

that is quite the interesting tidbit at 17:25 i like experimentation.
Theres a big diesel truck up near the used car lot, it does not have a bed but you can place 3-5 benches or furniture on it
You should build your utility and workbenches in the garage. It'll look tidier and seems more functional.
I know your pain man, I spent like 30 mins moving a bed from a house into a warehouse one time only to get trapped by it and a wall when I finally set it down where I wanted it, had to hit stuck button and it teleported me halfway across that part of the map

Park next to the pump and you can just fill the car up with gas
How. I wasted more time than I'd care to admit to today trying that. I could only fill a container or drink from gas pump.
Park next to it look at your fuel cap area and press fill... dumb people everywhere man i swear@damonstephens2833
Loving the game so far k thanks again for a another great vid fan for life sir
Sup Kage, Long time viewer from the old minecraft survival (Season 1) series, just decided to come back and see how you were doing, and it looks like you've been doing great!
You can put the stuff on the truck
Campervan at the top of map at house.. lockpick the door and keys inside. All working
Kage, I moved an advanced workbench and the repair bench from the fish and bait store in a flatbed truck. 1 on each edge in 1 go, it can be done if angled correctly or the big pick up truck works but struggle to find 1 working
Paul soars Jr started playing vein and was able to move smaller objects in the small pickup.
I was playing this game while listening to this lol, 22:27 had me yell yo what??? Lolol saw the kitty and laughed, heard something different but close
Idk if you can do it with all vehicles but you can definitely move work benches and other things like storage containers on some vehicles.

You could place things on tables an shelves. Could be used for like storage usage...or your very own decor😉
Everything don't have to be empty
You can also put any bench in a regular truck.
If you destroy stoves, you have the possibility to get limestone chunks.
4:35 POV: What my sister sees when i leave my room to get water in the middle of the night 😂
How far out does the utility cabinet broadcast to? If you put it in the garage will it reach the workbenches and the outside to build fences?
you can see the gas while the car is running on the bottom right.
Yeah you can get it at the hardware store. I got 5 yesterday
you can adjust the spawn rate and the distance they can hear you from in the settings

Hi Kage. You get limestone if you destroy the gravestones at the cemetery
Remember take the dvd with you

You can store furniture on the back of a flat bed, not sure about vehicles but maybe? just food for thought :) and a tip for a mobile base possibly?
😅 I’ll leave the comment but I see later in the video that you know, also some comments explain it better
Can you use the old fence for materials to make a new one?
Exactly what I was thinking destroy fencing in the area for materials to make new fencing
I have seen people move things in a Pick Up.
LMFAO, you snuck a vein game video in the middle 7d2d, listening while cooking and was like I seriously don’t remember any of this, PHEW
a yellow truck i seen people move stuff with that just letting you know love your videos
So I don't know how much protection the Fence will offer, the zombies can climb over them.
New Vein updates just came out :D
Kage my beloved 😍
Did he ever learn the nails recipe? He has 2 of them.
Read your nails blueprint Kage!!!!!
All i know is i once put a whole couch on a car and was able to move it wherever

Destroy house plant for soil and limestone
How cool would it be to have a mobile base if you can clear out the seats from the school bus
Anyone know where a damn welder is? I searched all of Saranac and couldnt find one snywhere.
I make it a game to run over all the Zombies I see while driving.
Good Lord....
how did your gas go up 7% since last video
Pickup truck bro.
Just take it to a gas station
Find the hardware.. all the tools you need are there..
I am new to this game.. Can you just choose any house you can just live in any of them ?
Yeah you can
6:14 maybe just press H?
Rip 🫦
You can cut down trees

Still want a autograph thought if u will
Can't you just destroy it and get back the resources and rebuild it the other end?
Find a pick-up truck
u wont last long when it goes down in a few weeks.
is this game in a playable state? Like to play legitimately? WHen i play i just dick around cuz i'm not sure how much actually works yet
