I love beer, and I love Sofia. I'll be there for some time over the summer, and would love to see your favorite beer locations. I'm ok, I suppose, with the standard BG beer, but coming from California and our incredible craft beer culture, I'd love to taste more interesting brews.
Wonderful, our beer recommendations video is in the making, stay tuned 😊 We hope you enjoy your stay in Sofia and you find some lovely new brews there, California is an inspiration for us all 🍻
Very unique and interesting city. Can Simona tell me why Bulgaria is known for good health and long life-spans. I know there have been scientic research about this ❤
Haha, interesting point! Well, it's actually a story about yogurt, it was believed that people in a region of Bulgaria lived longer because they ate yogurt with a special bacteria which was called lactobacillus bulgaricus. We can't tell you whether this is true or not but we found some articles that might be useful: www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/science-lecture-accidentally-sparked-global-craze-yogurt-180958700/ www.healthline.com/health/digestive-health/lactobacillus-bulgaricus P.S. Yogurt is still basically religion in BG and Simona rarely spends a day without eating some.
