This can NOT be a 2002 - TWENTY YEAR OLD - boat! This is where true quality shines. Princess did a wonderful job producing the boat and Steve and Jan have done the same in bringing back the shine and that new boat smell. Way to go. Thanks for sharing...
Another really interesting and caring owner nick, who knows how to get the best out of an older boat that looks like a much younger one. They have done a wonderful, carefree upgrade and added a couple of beautiful touches to bring out the beauty of the wood and upholstery. This Princess 40 looks as though it has just come out the factory, it's a credit to the owners hard work and attention to detail that makes this boat worth around the £200K and a fantastic bit of kit to own!
Good stuff. I really enjoy the "meet the owners" episodes. Steve and Jan were great. They really lucked out on finding such a beautiful yacht at a great price. They'll soon be making great new memories, best of luck to them both. Cheers from Colorado.
She's definitely scrubbed up well, looks really nice just like new. Love Steve and Jan they seem a really nice down to earth couple who enjoy their boating life. Great tour and interview Nick, thank you.
What a nice yacht so well appointed and clean, wishing Steve and Jan many happy boating seasons Thank you Nick for your meet the owner series you find the nicest people to share their stories with us
Nice boat, nice, natural couple. They have got the boat just how they want it through a well thought out and sympathetic upgrade programme. I hope that they enjoy power as much as they did sail. Great video, as ever, Nick. 👍👍👍.
Really do enjoy these videos. These guys again appear to be genuine, sincere and friendly. Their boat has been transformed and now looks so clean and modern. I’d be proud to own that boat. I think these videos though are more about the people. Well done Nick. Another very enjoyable video.
Fantastic meet the owners video as always. Steve and Jan have done a wonderful job adding little bits and pieces to bring this super yacht more up to date. Nice tour and a excellent interview thanks Nick and of course Steve and Jan 👍🏻
What a lovely boat and a lovely couple. Steve seemed very comfortable talking in front of the camera too. Can tell that he is quite hooked on power but Jan is still undecided 😀
I'm really enjoying your interview of the owners and their boats. The care and love of the boats and sailing shines through in all of the interviews. More please.
This was a great video showing what you can get for your money and the minimal work required to make it look great. I know it’s not cheap but a great deal all the same. Just shows that older doesn’t mean on scrap heap. These meet the owner videos are really useful. Thanks Nick again as usual.
Another great video Nick. You master the recording, the editing and more importantly your ability to select the people and the boats. Not essy to do a 45 minutes video keeping the audience engaged. Congratulations !! I love the tone of the interview, the couple is very humble and down to earth. Brilliant to see people sensitive with money, not showing off and passionate about boating.
Another good episode Nick. I really enjoy these 'Meet the owners' sessions. What a super lovely couple....I hope they get endless fun and memories with Siren. I think I remember this boat on the broads (I used to live there years ago). She is looking really ship-shape!
What a fabulous example of what can be achieved, all credit to Steve and Jan they should be very proud, clearly very hands on, they’ve really done credit to an excellent example, great vid Nick, one of best for a while, 👍
What a great couple of folks!! They got a great deal on that boat and the dollars they spent after the purchase were wisely chosen. I'm fairly certain Steve was some sort of senior executive in a large corporation. I would bet Jan was a physician. Either way, they certainly have earned the retirement they are enjoying and I am one of the many thousands of jealous viewers. Greetings from Texas....John B
This episode was interesting, fun, and well worth seeing. The boat was really well looked after. Nick's interview style is very involved, and he let's people speak. Can't wait for the next one. Have a "aquaholic" summer ☀️
Absolutely stunning! I'm talking about the couple, exceptionally charming, most certainly brilliant attitude. My "KIND" of people.!"Everyday, is a school day". Quite compelling! The boat looks really, really tremendous as well! Loving that fly bridge. Princess consistently maintains the peak of the tier, when it comes to quality and customer service. Cheers from Fort Worth, Texas Rick!
Beautiful boat and fabulous owners. Nice to hear the journey to where they come from. We are just starting our journey ( not with a 40ft boat of course) but as you say it doesn’t matter what size you are your still out boating and enjoying the water
Lovely boat and lovely couple. Once again Quality builds are proving long lasting. By todays standards probably over engineered, but more modern craft will bot stand the test of time.
Great "Meet the owners" Nick.. Lovely couple... Lovely boat (Really ? A 2002 !!!) I`m amazed by the condition and the quality.. The gift was and is a lovely thing for you to do. More please.
What fantastic boat for the money, very well done to that nice couple. Wow. Lovely video Nick, really interesting what can be done to an older boat, looking really good. Thanks again for your efforts Nick .
Usual very enjoyable vlog Nick lovely boat as you would expect with a princess and should I ever get lucky I’d love to have a princess 40. Thanks again Nick
First off I am absolutely chuffed to bits that Steve and Jan are converts to tackless motor yachting...lol...! The déjà vu of an older but very well aged Princess is great to see. She is obviously in very good and capable hands, congratulations on a very smart purchase. Brilliant interview with a smart and charming couple. Nick, Jan and Steve have a great weekend.
Meet the Owner… this format is both boat and owners. As boat owners ourselves, your content’s continuous evolution is informative and refreshing. I said to my wife, “I’ve never met Nick; but, I feel like kindred spirits.” Great job, my friend.
You have to love an early experience in a little Topper sailing craft! My first try in one as a youth; I capsized a bit too near Marlow weir and was rescued by an "unsinkable" Dory ... With a hole in it... So I had to bail that out all the way back... Ahh fun times.
As we’ve said before Nick, by buying slightly older & investing some time/money you can get a GORGEOUS sub £200K 40’ Princess Fly with equity to spare… fabulous!!! And What a lovely couple too!!! 😃
They did a great job and had quite a lot fixed to get it to where they want. But for all of that he went through, and they even used Princess for some of the upgrades, I feel the cost of £28K seems very much OK. I would have guessed more actually. I would change the blue tops in the heads too but it's a minor thing, this works.
Really enjoyed that, Nick. Especially it being a longer video but it flew by! Great owners and I have a daughter with Cerebral Palsy, wheelchair bound so when Steve said he retired and worked with a charity for disabled children I had a wee smile on my face. Which does bring me to a question I've wanted to ask you for a while. Have you ever seen a boat that's been completely adapted for wheelchair access in all living areas? I'd love to see a tour of one! I know it would cost a fortune and I'm not looking to buy one, just curious.
@@AQUAHOLIC Thanks Nick, I actually think I seen that as it came to me after I posted but couldn't remember if it was fully accessible but now you've named the video I shall head over and view it again, cheers pal. 👍
@@AQUAHOLIC Looks like it was the Guy Couach 35m with the lift in it, very impressive but it's not fully accessible and I'm not sure if they can be. If I ever win the lottery I'm going to get Princess to custom build me one with access to all living space and on/off for a wheelchair and of course you'll be invited for a full tour Nick!
This can NOT be a 2002 - TWENTY YEAR OLD - boat! This is where true quality shines. Princess did a wonderful job producing the boat and Steve and Jan have done the same in bringing back the shine and that new boat smell. Way to go. Thanks for sharing...
Funny, I picked up my 2003 Princess 40 yesterday! Volvo Penta TAMD 63P with only 970 hours. Very Happy!
Good choice!
I find "Meet The Owners" most interesting as always, thanks again, Nick.
My pleasure!
Another really interesting and caring owner nick, who knows how to get the best out of an older boat that looks like a much younger one. What a lovely couple! ! Love this one and love what they have done to that beautiful princess 👑
She's definitely scrubbed up well, looks really nice just like new. Love Steve and Jan they seem a really nice down to earth couple who enjoy their boating life. Great tour and interview Nick, thank you.
Nick once again your knowledge of Princess boats show why no one can even come close to talking about the joys of boating.
Cheered me right up as i'm battling back from severe illness. Thanks Nick
Hope you’re feeling much better soon 🙂
Beautiful boat and a lovely couple. I wish them all the best on their future endeavours
What a nice yacht so well appointed
and clean, wishing Steve and Jan many happy boating seasons
Thank you Nick for your meet the owner series you find the nicest people to share their stories with us
Thank you to Steve, Jan, and Nick for this excellent “Meet the Owner!”
They are a lucky couple to own such a beautiful yacht. She's a great looking vacation home. Thank you all for a very informative tour.
Great boat! Hope the owners have a lot of fun and safe travels in her!! thanks for sharing! 👍👍👊👊
Hi Nick, Steve and Jan. A good choice of motoryacht. Interesting history, many adventures to come. Great walkthrough and meet the owner. Thanks 😊
Nice boat, nice, natural couple. They have got the boat just how they want it through a well thought out and sympathetic upgrade programme. I hope that they enjoy power as much as they did sail. Great video, as ever, Nick. 👍👍👍.
What a wonderful couple. They've done a terrific job on their boat, - looks fantastic. Nice one Nick. 😀
And this my friends is why i would only buy a princess! Simply the best! Happy sailing all🛥⚓
Splendid video! Jan and Steve are terrific. The boat was great also!
You manage to meet the most lovely people nick👍👍
Really do enjoy these videos. These guys again appear to be genuine, sincere and friendly. Their boat has been transformed and now looks so clean and modern. I’d be proud to own that boat. I think these videos though are more about the people. Well done Nick. Another very enjoyable video.
Great owners and very honest about what they want for the future. Good luck to you both.

Loved getting to meet the owners and listening to their boating stories, sail vs. power. Such a beautiful boat they have.
Good stuff Nick, a very relaxed interview with a lovely couple of people, more 'Meet the owners,' please.
What a really interesting couple, a beautiful boat. The upgrades are wonderful she looks lovely.
I'm really enjoying your interview of the owners and their boats. The care and love of the boats and sailing shines through in all of the interviews. More please.
Nick, thank you for the tour. Their Princess is beautiful & Steve & Jan are a lovely couple. I enjoyed hearing about their boating background.
As a Princess is my dream I’m very pleased to see a beginner on the road. Thanks.
Lovely couple and a very lovely boat.

Big thanks to Steve and Jan, plus you Nick!
Really enjoyable video of a lovely yacht, with very nice subtle upgrades and at a very reasonable price.

These two are so nice and down to earth and what a beautiful yacht.
Beautiful boat! It absolutely looks brand new.
Great video Nick and the owners seem sensible and grounded.Nice to see an older boat and what a boat it is. Smashing.

Fantastic people, fastastic boat. They are bound to have great times aboard that Princess 😀I must say the interviewer still ROX for the lord 😄Thanks

I know nothing about boats but I found this really interesting & what a lovely couple. Thank you for fantastic content.
Thanks for watching it! :)

Great boat, this is a boat that I was booked in for a viewing, then told it was under offer, Glad it went to a good home,
