At 02:48, wondering why the Spicejet and Flydubai B737-800 appears larger in size (even when further away) than the Air India Express B737-800. Optical illusion?
Why are the planes behind the landing one appear larger in size even if the are further away? Both are 737s ? Is it an illusion ??? Or is this camera trick with video editing ?
The incident happened because the aircraft approach from the other side rather than the side he shot the landing, that too in heavy rain which created more danger otherwise the runway is pretty long enough for a 737 to land ( U can see the table top part in this video) By the way nice work by @wingspotter to shoot it beautifully ❤️❤️
@@WingSpotter I used to study in Calicut airport school from 1995 to 2000. We could see flight landing and taking off from our school ground. There was frequent noise disturbances as well. I left the place in 2001, was nice to see it again.
This table top runway is notsuitable for long haul jets It is there due to political compulsions. Passengers safety can go to hell!! Love to see politician families use this facility regularly

I would rather fly into Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram and then take a train to Kozhikode. Same goes for Mangaluru, arrive in Mumbai, train to Mangaluru.

Why air India flight are always small than other flights like Emirates
Emirates uses wide body aircraft like the 777 and A380 and Air India Express uses Narrowbody aircraft which is the 737.
