Very nicely done. I owned a 1976 competition version in yellow and white. I owned it from 1978 until the late 80’s. I was the second owner after the original owner traded it back to the dealer for a 250 after only several months of ownership. I did a ground up restoration in the early 80’s and was able to get all new old stock parts including a seat cover. VERY comfortable seat. I can confirm that yes the competition version did have the splines pieces on the frame, though I never knew what they were for until your video. Mine did not have a speedo on it. You were definitely spot on with your comparisons though. Thanks for the video which brought back a lot of fond memories of my TY. I sure miss it!
I have a 76ty25 fr 35 years it starts 1 st lick 5 over hauls I will own it until I die ,but gon they many other biks currently have a 2020 yz450fx love it to.

Yamaha always start with frame numbers supplied to the public from 101 so your bike is number 354 off the production line.
