Hi mate, I've currently got the thermnight 225, thinking of upgrading to 335. I loved the video, especially the rabbits around the field at various distances, any chance on the next one you could do the same with the rabbits but go through the thermal colours and when on the NV use the zoom function to show its capabilities. As base mag is great but just wondering how it manages at distance. Many thanks.
I really don't notice a difference in this video between TNC335R and TNC225R. Did u really need external IR? I've never had the need but I generally shoot up to 50m
The difference is real mate, unfortunately youtube degrade the video quality. As for the external IR, it’s not needed but i already had it so use it so i can prolong the 335s battery, personal choice really👍 have a great 2025🍻🍻
Nice shooting are u happy with the the thermal looks a bit poor compared to a thermal spotter though I see the advantages of it when I spot with the thermal it’s sometimes hard to spot rabbits with the night vision if there in the hedge or long grass
@@philipheelham3061 hi philip, the image quality is degraded by youtube mate, it’s much better in real life tbh. When you think the unit has day/night/thermal in a compact little unit it’s awesome! Watch the foxing video i put on. Steve is struggling to find the fox with the HIK Alpex and i talk him on to it as i was filing with the thermnight 335👍
Will do thanks I use an infiray fh35v2 and an alpex 4k and u can spot stuff with the spotter then have trouble finding with the scope this looks a good fit
This may sound like a daft answer but yes and no! Depends on the level of fog. If it’s very light fog then yes but the range finder will be affected as will one you spend £10k on because of the water droplets affecting the laser reading but you will still be able to use the thermal.
...the Vixen has become quite popular with serious shooters in the Netherlands!!! A Happy New Year to you and yours!!!...😀
