I just did the day/night ballistics then zeroed the thermal on the same profile (a or b etc) and they work perfectly. Pretty good when the day scope is 5-20 and the thermal is 3-12!

At short ranges there can be quite difference the indicated hold due to the difference in the two scopes. I still tend to spot on thermal and aim on the day/night PIP Image. I changed to the 940nm VCSEL so no spooking the targets...

If i drop the jackpot tonight pal i’ll buy you one👍 it’s a good cheap way to zero mate and we all like something as cheap as possible right?!? Thanks for watching👍👍

Wood - Genius works a treat. An initial rough thermal zero can be done by using the corner of the wood . Align the zeroed day/night reticle to the corner then switch to thermal and rough zero it's reticle on the corner. Thanks for posting

Good question! They will match up but you will need to change the zero distance in the app and sync the ballistic table to which one you are using. i.e. if you use a at 15, b at 30 and c at 45 you will change the ballistic table accordingly or you could create 3 different profiles in the ballistic app, either way mate. If you email me i can send you some pics to show you what i mean (email in description👍)

That’s what I thought, thank you. I’ll look forward to today’s video. I’m also trying to decide between the 3-12x and 5-20x. All of my airgun shooting is 50 yards or less.

@michaelo6003 i use them both on sub 12, both equally as good but if you’re ratting the 3-12 ranges down to about 5yds which is ideal

@@VerminHuntersNEUK are you happy with the vixen? My hw100kt can't compete with them distances. It kills me to say it being out shone, but I'm px it for the vixen. Not sure about you're choice of scope, mind. I'm using the Alpex 4k lrf, bit more money but it's worth the money. It's heavy yeah, but not that much really. Anyways am subscribed up and looking forward to next vid. Be safe.

Nothing rude about that pal, i tested it with a dBa meter and the Blade is 2 dBa quieter on mine. It only takes 3dBa to double or half the sound so it’s a win from me👍👍👍

Cheers pal👍 i use the 5-20 and the 3-12 LRF versions of the zulus but now i have the zulus thermnight which is 3-12 for thermal and 5-20 for the day/night. Went out ratting last night, it is awesome!!👍👍 we’re usually 20-30yds away from the feeders
