Aww it's really sweet how he brags about his wife :) a lot of men wouldn't want their wife to get involved in their work (the movie), or wouldn't dare to admit that they were enjoying their wife's career success! He's actually a pretty well-known director (though his wife is really #1 in dramas) so he's being really humble as well.
